New to me author and narrator. I enjoyed it overall, but I admit I got bored. Solid writing, but the story was predictable.
Narration was very good, nice tone and cadence.

Slow burn, so good

My book reviews generally consist of my feelings and observations while reading, so for your consideration: this feels like a Scorsese film, so cinematic. Suspense/pot boiler, betrayal, such a balance of dark and light, family destruction and re-connection. Chicago to Greece to London, dream itinerary! Yachts, why don’t I know someone with a yacht? Swanky parties with celebs and hotshots. Beaches, mythology and legends. Such lush details, sometimes feels like a slow, sensual stroll down a cobbled street at twilight. Revenge and twisty reveals. Food, I need Greek food right now! Oh, delicious slow-burn seduction! Turo’s kisses, is there anyone who kisses better than Turo? Unexpected love, rising from two rocky pasts.
To say I enjoyed this is an understatement. Indulge, be captivated!
These narrators killed it, each character so well played. So, so good.

Felt like the same old same old

In a world of 5* reviews....I had to DNF at about 40%. Narration was great, for sure. But the story and characters were irritating and repetitious and rather boring. I guess if you've read a few of this author's books, you've read them all. I was a huge fan of the first 4 or so books I read by her, but I've come to realize it's the same characters with different names. I can only take so many uber-alpha men and melting, swoony immature women.
Irritant of the minor variety - she is 19 years old but a dinner guest says they enjoyed a charity event she organized a few years ago in Europe? Say what now?
Also for my friends who know me - YELLOW SUNDRESS.

Made me feel bad, dnf

Made it to 45% and had to quit. Had to. This book was making me feel dumb and mad and skeevy. There was absolutely zero realness to any character. I didn't like them, and ended up not caring for any of it. I felt bad for the narrators, tbh.

Short, light-hearted romance

I didn't realize how short this was. Enjoyable, light-hearted romance. I kept waiting for the draaaaama, but due to it's compact length - no angst or twists or heartaches. Nice for change.

Mostly enjoyable

Haven't read a rocker story in a while, and I almost always steer clear of NA. This was enjoyable, most of all because of the narrators. Some interesting, unexpected elements and overall I wanted to see how everything turned out. The end of the book was jarring, and then 2 epilogues to wrap things up seemed tacked on. Just tell the story and bring it to an end, these epilogues are unnecessary.

Great storytelling and top notch narration

I haven't read a CD Reiss book in a while, and this one was a damned good listen. The mc Laine was tough and forthright, independent and self-assured. And then you find out how she came to be this person - her past was brutal. Sometimes unbearable. Michael was appealing and surprisingly "real" to me. Story line kept moving forward at a good clip, side characters well developed.
I did feel a bit cheated of some kind of retribution against a couple of truly slimy and abusive a-holes.
Narration was terrific, two of my favorite voices in Jo Raylan and Christian Fox.

Tell me a story, Letty....Long Live The Rock!

Just finished the audiobook and I have to say, it added a whole new experience to this 5 star read! I read this book a few years ago and immediately put it on the top shelf. There is quite honestly nothing like this writing, this story, these characters. It blew me away, and now the narration gives it a new life.
Hearing Letty tell this story through the incredible vocal talent of Lessa Lamb was simply fantastic!

Excellent M/M shifter experience

I totally fell for Vasil! And I was surprised how much I grew to like Mason. It was interesting to see his progression from a bitter boy-man to a fully realized adult. Any scene with young Andre - loved it.

Must give it up to narrator extraordinaire Kirt Graves. How he managed to sustain that specific Romanian dialect, with at least 4 individual male voices speaking at any time, was incredible to me. I also found myself charmed by his Leonie voice, as I could "see" her in his performance.
