Historia
When quiet Orrin and his extroverted best friend, Daniel, were transported to a strange RPG-based world, not much changed between them. Daniel became a hero of legend, while Orrin remained his unobtrusive shadow. Only when they faced a particularly lethal foe did Orrin step out of his comfort zone and display his true worth—with powers he didn't know he had. Of course, Daniel got all the glory, but Orrin doesn't mind. He's just happy they're both still alive.

Revisado: 08-28-24
exactly what the title says. he kinda just sucks, and acts like the intelligent one even though Daniel was always better at school

Historia
How would you like to begin an apprenticeship in the mystical craft of artificery? You'll learn things that most people can only dream of. You'll make swords with self-sharpening blades, bows that fire by themselves, and clocks that can read the future. Even better, you'll get to live in the sunlit village of Sunhampton, a sleepy little crafter's village of cobbled streets, cozy taverns, and pleasant bakeries. If this sounds like just the life for you, then grab a beer and a sweet roll, and follow Lewis as he begins his new life as an apprentice.

Solid Slice of Life
Revisado: 03-23-24
Slice of life portion was good, the system was meh and side characters slowly became less of what they once were. The side character's romance was not good, they seemed to have no compatability and was just kinda shoehorned into it. Overall an enjoyable listen though, I'll likely read the next.

Historia
Worn out after decades of packing steel and raising hell, Viv, the orc barbarian, cashes out of the warrior’s life with one final score. A forgotten legend, a fabled artifact, and an unreasonable amount of hope lead her to the streets of Thune, where she plans to open the first coffee shop the city has ever seen. However, her dreams of a fresh start filling mugs instead of swinging swords are hardly a sure bet. Old frenemies and Thune’s shady underbelly may just upset her plans. To finally build something that will last, Viv will need some new partners, and a different kind of resolve.

Meh MC's Good World
Revisado: 01-07-24
MC constantly complains about racism while also being unwilling to admit her own actions explain why people get scared when they see her. She's also constantly rascist to anyone that isn't a 'unpopular race' and even then she is to some of them; "oh crap it's a human, I'm going to assume this is how they see me and I don't like elves." It's very hard to support a hypocrite no matter how good the world is

Better Than Most!
Revisado: 12-19-23
Everyone that says "is not really speed running" has never read a cultivation story. Dude flys through the levels and the entire book covers only a few weeks of time. The prelude gives a fantastic time scale and he's on a solid track right from the beginning. Only thing I wish was different was him caring for his sister a bit more, though it makes sense why he wouldn't, I really like her character and I hope he develops a similar care.

Historia
As management reels from the unexpected conclusion of the seventh level, the surviving crawlers stumble onto the eighth and find themselves scattered. It’s a map based on Earth’s final days before the collapse, where ethereal, intangible ghosts of humanity go about their lives, oblivious of the impending doom. Living amongst these ghosts are monsters based in Earth lore. “Legendary” creatures tied to the geographical location they inhabit. Each team of crawlers is given a task: Find and capture six of these beasts.

Historia
The Omen's first foray into Centerpoint Dungeon has failed, but Lucas knows that won't be the end of it. He has to prepare himself for the storm that's brewing—all while continuing to manage his dungeon, doing everything from running his tours to committing large-scale counterfeiting to holding a singing competition. There are enemies on all sides. The dungeon lies within an oppressive kingdom that refuses to acknowledge any of its countless wars. To the south lies the Omen of death, eager to consume it all. Still unknown threats verge towards Centerpoint.

Few Bad Things Cause Steep Decline
Revisado: 11-05-23
The last 1.5 hours were completely subpar, but the issues go deeper than that. The characters feel flat and their primary motivations feel hollow. Author felt the need to shoehorn relationships that didn't really work or feel earned.
The relationship between Ryan and Troy is especially bad. It manages to remove all personality from both characters: going from driven, capable, well-written/well meaning characters with individual drives to 'we can't dedicate time to training, we need to boink (insert implied s*x joke)' every single time.
Seriously, I can count on a single hand the dialog that either character has that's not answering for both. I can count on 2 hands the total dialog lines of both characters. It really seemed like the author got tired of writing them and figured this was an okay compromise.
Lucas is less decisive in everything. He especially turns into an idiot where Rose is concerned (and the last 1.5 hours).
Class upgrades are cool. I wish more was done with this. Very little actually mattered. Only 1 of Lucas' mattered and it somehow turned him evil, no indication that classes control you personally prior. The rules are repeatedly broken.
"Omen can't enforce his will onto the world too often because it's terribly taxing" - one sec let him finish his machine gun fire of instant death, this is totally within the known rules. And - "Oh everyone is dying, I'm glad the only person to lose anything in class advancement is me. I don't need revive, sure let me keep all other abilities of the old class except the major one on my path itself"
Writing style itself is still good. So many cool ideas are brought up here that I hope to continue the series. I just hope he fixes the obvious flaws. Needless deaths also don't add anything, the characters are so 2d that I felt very little if what was supposed to be high impact (the cause is needless, nothing changes either way)

Historia
Somebody once told a joke. A man ran in place all his life. He worked a job he didn't love for people he couldn't stand. But at the end of the day, the number in his bank account went up. That man got a second chance at life. He woke up in another world, one full of adventures and romances and monsters and gods. And floating above his head, he saw the number "1". So what did he say? "Gosh, I better make the number go up." Not today. Not for this old soul. Reborn as a beast of battle meant to live a short life and die screaming, Garek refuses.

It's alright
Revisado: 09-03-23
Despite its faults, it is far better than The Land, I'll probably pick up the next book.
Well writtwn system characters are likable, and the universe mostly functions in stable rules.
The worst part about the book is the author. The battles are written well, and the skills are consistent, but the author decided to throw in some last-minute "I'm so much smarter than all these losers, why weren't they doing this all along" stuff and pedo flirting between an actual child (the author specifically notes that they are a child multiple times) and a woman old enough to have successfully retired and purchased land (likely old enough to be her grandmother, no indication she's from a long lived race, but the child certainly is).
Unnecessary character development can be worse than none ("I love peace but a little genocide never hurt anyone right"), especially when it goes against the small vestiges that were already laid down or is just last minute decided by an author that doesn't care enough to go back and change the story to make sense.
Overall, it's a decent story despite the flaws. I would recommend it.
p.s. You don't milk bulls. Male "cows" may have something you can tug, and you may get something white and thick, but it is NOT milk. The main character is a minotaur! No wonder all the cows disliked him
