Historia
Unmasking the Klansman may read like a work of fiction but is actually a biography of Asa Carter, one of the South's most notorious white supremacists (and secret Klansman). In the early 1960s Carter became a secret adviser to George Wallace and wrote the Alabama governor's infamous 1963 inauguration speech vowing "segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever."

Fantastic history and very good writing despite the unimaginative narration and bland reader. Thank goodness for the discovery of the monster’s identity

Historia
"Marley was dead to begin with...." These chillingly familiar words begin the classic Christmas tale of remorse and redemption in A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Now R. William Bennett rewinds the story and focuses the spotlight on Scrooge’s miserly business partner, Jacob T. Marley, who was allowed to return as a ghost to warn Scrooge away from his ill-fated path. Why was Marley allowed to return? And why hadn’t he been given the same chance as Ebenezer Scrooge? Or had he?

Historia
Virgil knows the town of Trippton, Minnesota, a little too well. A few years back, he investigated the corrupt - and, as it turned out, homicidal - local school board, and now the town's back in view with more alarming news: A woman's been found dead, frozen in a block of ice. There's a possibility that it might be connected to a high school class of 20 years ago that has a midwinter reunion coming up, and so, wrapping his coat a little tighter, Virgil begins to dig into 20 years' worth of traumas, feuds, and bad blood.

Abu Nakba―the man responsible for lethal attacks in Washington, D.C., London, and Jerusalem―is finally dead. Marcus Ryker has been tasked with hunting down and destroying what’s left of the terror group Kairos. But before Ryker can mobilize his team of CIA operatives with their new assignment, a disturbing report from Libya suggests all may not be as it seems. The U.S. bombing that should have taken out Nakba’s headquarters now appears to have been a disastrous mistake―and Ryker himself may be responsible.

Historia
Founded by the mysterious genius known as the Designer, the archipelago of Prospera lies hidden from the horrors of a deteriorating outside world. In this island paradise, Prospera’s lucky citizens enjoy long, fulfilling lives until the monitors embedded in their forearms, meant to measure their physical health and psychological well-being, fall below 10 percent. Then they retire themselves, embarking on a ferry ride to the island known as the Nursery, where their failing bodies are renewed, their memories are wiped clean, and they are readied to restart life afresh.

Deeply Disappointing
Revisado: 05-10-23
Not “The Passage,” which is a Classic. The first 1/3 or so of the audible bo Jan ok was fantastic, but when the story changed to the quest to launch into Space because of, among other things, “man made” Climate change, this development turned the story into loonie tunes! And, the female narrator was terrible; although Scott Brick was, as usual, exceptional.

Historia
One of the most viewed paintings in American history, Custer's Last Fight, copied and distributed by Anheuser-Busch at a rate of more than two million copies a year, was destroyed in a fire at the 7th Cavalry Headquarters in Fort Bliss, Texas, in 1946. Or was it? When Charley Lee Stillwater dies of an apparent heart attack at the Wyoming Home for Soldiers & Sailors, Walt Longmire is called in to try and make sense of a piece of a painting and a Florsheim shoebox containing a million dollars, sending the good sheriff on the trail of a dangerous art heist.

A Great Walt Longmire's Crime Solving Novel
Revisado: 10-13-20
As with the entire Walt Longmire series, this story has all of the best components of a memorable Great Story. For this story the characters, especially Undersheriff Vic, Henry Standing Bear, Rudy the dispatcher, and other marvelous characters from past stories are joined by a riotous new set of characters including a group of wheel-chair bound residents of the Wyoming Old Soldiers Home, who aid the amazing Sheriff Walt in solving a grand mystery involving theft and murder. The great writing and detailed story line require a second listen. This review would be meaningless without expressing utmost praise for the narrator, the great Mr. George Guidall who is the Voice of the Walt Longmire series.

Historia
Who is killing America? Is it really Donald Trump and a GOP filled with white supremacists? In this audiobook, Dinesh D’Souza makes the provocative case that Democrats are the ones killing America by turning it into a massive nanny state modeled on the Southern plantation system. Death of a Nation's bracing alternative vision of American history explains the Democratic Party's dark past, reinterprets the roles of figures like Van Buren, FDR, and LBJ, and exposes the hidden truth that racism comes not from Trump or the conservative right but rather from Democrats.

Precise Historical Account Having Dramatic Flair
Revisado: 08-06-18
The precise historical account of the essence of "progressive" foundations of the Democratic Party is a MUST read for all fair minded Americans. It has taken an immigrant from India, Mr. D'Souza, to lay out the truth of the Democratic Party's past practices and precepts as inspiration for the overbearing nature of Big Government, Racism, and insidious domination of the indigenous, native-Americans (Indians) and Black Americans. I must view the Motion Picture as well as acquire the DVD of the movie. Americans should understand the racism of Democrat presidents, Woodrow Wilson and FDR. The tragedy of the 20th Century turns on the election of Democrats for not only the Presidency but also member of Congress.

Marvelous Addition to History
Revisado: 07-23-18
Great thanks to "Judge Jeanine"! Marvelous addition to history. The great accounts of the many facets of the Deep State and its Liars (Cardinal Comes, messy Clapper, and lying Hillary) will be a guidebook to historians decades into the future. I keenly appreciate insight into the author's long relationship with Donald Trump, and her uplifting belief in the Triumph of the President Trump. This is a book for all Americans!
