Björn Diemel ist zurück - und mordet ganzheitlicher als je zuvor. Inzwischen müsste es Björn Diemel besser gehen. Er hat den stressigen Job gekündigt und sich selbstständig gemacht. Er verbringt mehr Zeit mit seiner Tochter und streitet sich kaum noch mit seiner Frau. Ach ja, und nebenbei führt er noch ganz entspannt zwei Mafia-Clans. Warum nur kann Björn das alles nicht genießen? Warum verliert er ständig die Beherrschung? Hat er das Morden einfach satt? Nein, nein, so ist es nicht. Sein Therapeut Joschka Breitner bringt ihn endlich auf die richtige Spur.

The Sequel

"Das Kind in mir" felt like sequel ("part 2") in both good and bad.
On good side, it had same characters, similar snappy but smart jokes and good overall story.
On down side, the core theme of applying psychology to crime was already heard once, and especially on the first half of the book the explanations of psychological concepts were bit too long (and boring).
Overall the book was anyway enjoyable. So if you liked the first part, you'll like also this one.

Great if already learning italian

Excellent if you know the very basics

If you know any italian (or spanish), this is a very efficient course to expand your vocabulary and enhance your pronunciation. But completely without any pre-knowledge, it may be a bit too fast start.
