One of the most healing things in support groups is hearing others' stories. This book is a non-judgemental guide to beginning the journey.

Anne Stuart is among the masters of romantic thrillers. This story will keep you wondering what secrets each character is hiding while also exciting your more carnal imagination. Evan Harris gives a convincing performance for each character, but especially the hero. Or is he the hero? You'll have to listen for yourself to find out exactly who Richard Tiernan is and what he wants with Cassidy Roarke.

This story plays out like a lost episode of the TV series. I loved it.

I have the utmost respect for these authors. Not only for their heroic service, but for how they translated their rich experience into a practical approach to leadership. You can apply the principles of this book where you are today. And if nothing else, the stories of their service in Iraq are fascinating. Buy it now. You will not regret it.

I can't wait for Spielberg's movie! Wil Wheaton's narration is wonderful and well suited to the material.

Keith R.A. DeCandido's use of the police drama device in a fantasy world has once again wrought captivating story. Michael Page again delivers a great reading of the audio book bringing all of the author's characters to life. I look forward to the rest of the books in the series.

A perfect blending of cop drama and D&D

This is a fun little blending of Law & Order style cop drama with a fantasy universe. It's heavy enough to take seriously, and yet light enough to be thoroughly entertaining. Using the cop drama style really helps to build the city and people of Cliff's End in your imagination, and fools you into accepting magic and fantasy races as a given in that world.

As an observation (as opposed to a criticism), this book doesn't go too deeply into the past of the main characters (Torin ban Wyvald, and ex-soldier and Danthres Tresyllione a female half-elf), at least not at first. You do get enough for proper development, so no worries there, but you also don't get bogged down in exposition. In that way, the story moves along at a proper pace. I will say that after listening to this book, I feel more acquainted with Danthres than with Torin, but that may be because she is the wittiest of the two. She is easily my favorite character in the book. As I understand it, we get a bit more of Torin's nuances in the next book, Unicorn Precinct.

I must compliment the audio book narrators performance. He does an admirable job differentiating the characters. Though one or two character voices do seem to blend together in places, it doesn't happen enough to distract or confuse you. He also seems to capture the tone and spirit of the story perfectly. Well done, Michael Page!

Scazi's gift for effective and entertaining characters really shines in this one. Agent to the Stars could easily be the basis for a TV sitcom or film comedy. And for all his funny moments, he also succeeds in reaching the soul with just the right amount of poignancy to sell the message without bringing you down from the comedy.

Fun and unexpectedly heartwarming.

Lawrence M. Shoen has created a fascinating world, made all the more real by J.G. Hertzler's reading. Well worth it. Get it for yourself and tell your friends!
