Historia
After Tova Sullivan’s husband died, she began working the night shift at the Sowell Bay Aquarium, mopping floors and tidying up. Keeping busy has always helped her cope, which she’s been doing since her eighteen-year-old son, Erik, mysteriously vanished on a boat in Puget Sound over thirty years ago. Tova becomes acquainted with curmudgeonly Marcellus, a giant Pacific octopus living at the aquarium. Marcellus knows more than anyone can imagine but wouldn’t dream of lifting one of his eight arms for his human captors—until he forms a remarkable friendship with Tova.

Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Deep insight into the very complex and challenging life of Prince Harry
Revisado: 02-06-23
This very candid and deeply personal story of Prince Harry’s life is told by Prince Harry himself. The supposed fairytale of being born into royalty was revealed as very sad, challenging and lacking any kind of privacy. Prince Harry’s loss of his mother at a very early age affected him deeply. But out of her ashes arose a courageous, caring, passionate young man who, against all odds found his passion in the military, his love of Africa, meeting and marrying the love of his life and becoming a loving and devoted father of two beautiful children. Choosing them over the monarchy was a monumental decision. His words help us to
understand why he did what he did and wish him and his wife and children a happy and peaceful life wherever they choose to live.

Excellent, Engaging, Enlightenment
Revisado: 06-30-22
The book started off a little slow because of the introduction of many new characters. But as the story went on, it became mesmerizing. The history of isthmus was very well researched and blended well with the fiction part of story. The colorful descriptions of characters and surroundings brought the story to vivid life. Well done.

A true story that kept me on edge throughout
Revisado: 05-07-22
Kate Quinn does a remarkable job at finding events that happened that most don’t know about and heroes that were not recognized during their lifetimes and brings them to life with vivid details about them and their incredible stories. They are stories worth sharing with our children and grandchildren.
