Insightful, Honest, Fantastic
Revisado: 06-24-23
This is an excellent book, combining personal stories with factual information and learning about the subjects. It is essential listening for anyone who is going through adult autism or for anyone who has someone like this in their life. Fern is already a great comedian, and it's great to see her create such a good book. Well done!

Good topic, too much detail
Revisado: 10-26-22
Very heavy on details in many of the chapters related to the examples used to highlight the points of the book (mostly historical religious and financial industry stories). Sometimes boring and difficult to focus on the key points if you are not interested in these areas.

Story OK, Poor narration

Story OK, Poor narration
Revisado: 01-06-22
Poor narration is the main problem - bad pronunciation of names of Chinese people and places (something that could have been researched prior to the recording), and the lines often ran together without enough inflection to separate items or sentences, making it difficult to follow sometimes.
The story was a bit lacking in details at times, making it feel more like a book summary, but overall not a major issue.

Absolutely brilliant, so well spoken and very entertaining! A big variety of humor, honesty and dark stories but delivered so honestly and care-free.

Note to narrator: no more accents please
Revisado: 04-10-21
A very good book that's well researched, and narrator was pretty good but tries to use some awkward (and at times cringeworthy) accents when reading quoted statements, sometimes seemingly giving up on the accent mid way through the quote.
