What???
Revisado: 08-22-23
Couldn’t believe the ending of this book. There was so much left to say. I was hoping Donovan would be able to resolve the voices in his head, have a heart to heart conversation with Campbell and the two would live happily ever after. I was loving this story until the end, very disappointed.

Just as good and engrossing as Sugar!

A great continuation of Sugar. So interesting how the characters lives were intertwined and connected. Great writing by the author. I felt I got to know these characters and was concerned about their well-being. The narrator was very good. Love these historical fiction books about black life in the South.
