I absolutely LOVED this book. Mollie recently lost her estranged father and knew she was to inherit his ranch and all his money. She wanted to sell it as quickly as possible and be done with it. But little did she know her father had other plans.
Cash is the grumpy foreman of her father’s ranch. He thought he was going to be left the inheritance after Mollie’s dad told him over and over again he was going to leave it to him. He had already planned to use the money to take care of his family and restore his family ranch.
Now Mollie is stuck having to spend a year at the ranch in order to get her inheritance. The banter and chemistry between these two was off the charts. The beautiful thing about this book was the healing both characters experienced. She felt like she was abandoned by her father and pushed herself so hard to hopefully get his attention and to make her mother proud. She was making herself physically sick with the stress she was under. As for Cash he was the oldest brother and he felt like he had to carry the weight of the world all by himself. He lost his parents, had to leave college to be there to support his siblings and then he lost the only other father figure he had. I got emotional and laughed so hard throughout this book.

Perfection is the only way to describe this book. Bowie is a single dad to an amazing daughter who has Down syndrome. From the start his daughter Becca immediately gravitates to Poppy. She is the definition of walking sunshine. She is patient, kind, gentle, and genuinely cares for Becca. Poppy is the missing piece to their lives.
Their story is heart warming it's about healing, love and about surrounding yourself with supportive people who choose to love you and don't leave. It's about showing up every single day for the ones you love.
Blood doesn't make a family and this group of friends are amazing family to one another. I absolutely love the guys friend dynamic. They share everything with one another and their single dad playbook entries are everything. They support, love and care for each other.

Oh sweet baby Jesus. From the FIRST chapter I was so freakin hooked!
Wren and Jack attended a masquerade party where they hit it off instantly. When things escalate between them he removes her mask and is hit with the realization he is hooking up with his best friend’s little sister who is 10 years younger than him and is a virgin. BUT instead of stopping he keeps going!
Wren has been in love with this man since she was 10 and to her this is a dream come true but once everything is done she sees the regret in his eyes and her heart is completely shattered. They spend the next 5 years hating each other and he became the villain to her story.
The chemistry and tension between these two was extremely hot. AND THE SPICY SCENES someone turn on a fan because man that was steamy. There were some hard topics discussed in this book so those who are sensitive with: Assault, Sexual Harassment, Attempted R*ape, Loss of life, Panic Attacks and PTSD please be aware. This is part of an interconnected series but can be read as a stand alone. I read this as a stand alone but am going to read the others because there were so many names mentioned and I wanted to get a better understanding of those couples and their stories. 5⭐️

** Arc reader review **
I’m a sucker for a grumpy x sunshine love story. This was the first book I’ve read from the series but not knowing the backstories to the other characters from before didn’t hinder my enjoyment of this book. But I will for sure go back to read the rest of the books from this series because I loved this one so much I can’t wait to catch up to the other siblings stories.
The banter between Archer and Ella was so good. The slow burn between them was killing me but once they were able to be together their story was beautiful. They were able to open up to each other and share things they never felt comfortable sharing with anyone else. They supported each other and just loved being with each other.
I love that the men in this family were there to support and love each other. They knew when tough love was needed.
I genuinely loved this book. I can’t recommend enough.

THE SPICE IN THIS BOOK 🥵 I think this is the most spice I’ve read in a book so far and it’s only part 1, but that didn’t take away from the story. There’s so many levels to this book. Each character has such a deep background and it’s amazing to see the growth they all have. They all have their own trauma they went through ( please check the trigger warnings ) and they all help each other come out of their shell. The banter between all of them was absolutely amazing. I can’t get enough of this book. I am certainly buying the next book. Ugh I hate that this ends in a cliffhanger.

Sofiya and Matteo were to me married for an alliance between the Russians and Italians. Matteo was the Don of the New York Italians and Sofiya was the princess of the Chicago Pakhan Bratva. Matteo knew nothing of his new bride until the day of their wedding he finds out she has a disability (EDS).
My heart hurt for Sofiya because her father thought of her as an embarrassment for her disability. I absolutely LOVE Sofiya. She was so strong and even when in horrible pain she pushed through. She is beautiful, kind, and was a badass behind all her sweetness. People underestimated her ability to hold her know because of her disability.
Because Matteo has family trauma he shut his heart down and didn’t want to appear weak ever again. He struggled to not let Sofiya in he was head over heels for her and didn’t want to be. Slowly his heart softened towards her. Wanting to take care of her to the best of her ability and would end anyone who tried to hurt her.
This book had me laughing, kicking my feet, and even tearing up. This has to be one of my favorite reads so far. I 100% recommend.

He flew to Alabama just to fly back to New York to be able to spend time with her. He is such a golden retriever for her. She is quirky and weird but he eat that shit up.
I hate that it took his parents being racist towards her to see how horrible they were to anyone who wasn’t a straight white person. His own brother being gay took so much shit from them and he always defended them.

I don’t understand why so many people were against a why choose story for Will and Beckett. It fits them so well since throughout this series it was known they share and even in the Dixon Rule we saw Will struggle with the idea he liked sex more when he was sharing with Becket.
I loved Charlie. You were able to see her struggle with wanting to be perfect for her family, feeling different for being adopted, wanting to be polished and proper in public and being her true self with Will and Beckett. Her anxiety and panic attacks were also represented. You were able to see the growth she had with embracing who she was and embracing the relationship they had.
The boys also had their struggles with Will it was his dad. He had to be the “politicians son” always looking good to the press and a puppet for his dad. He had to break away from being used as a pawn in his dad’s world. He also struggled with the relationship aspect. He kept saying they would handle it when anything came up but he was still unsure about what people would think about their relationship and we saw that struggle pull them way.
Becketts past finally was addressed and ugh my heart. He carried around so much pain and I understand why he was the playboy running from that hurt. Exposing the reasoning behind it was able to help him heal and man he was even more amazing after.
I love the side stories especially with Blake Logan. I really hope we get a story about her and Issac. And DAD CHAT oh my gosh I LOVE being able to see the OGs make an appearance. Their humor is still the same. They are a found family and I love how intertwined they are. Coach Hollis was a perfect addition. Loved that Rupi and him are still as crazy as ever.
I can go on and on about how much I truly love this entire hockey universe Elle Kennedy was able to create. She has created my all time favorite hockey series. I cannot wait to see what she does next.

I couldn’t stop laughing and I was only 2 chapters in. Connor is such a sweetheart helping Taylor and being protective of her. Having a connection with her and not going straight to hooking up but being able to have a conversation with her. He feels like an imposter around all his friends and she feels undesirable due to her weight. I feel like he had more character growth through the book than she did. I wish she would have had more confidence towards the end but I know dealing with insecurities is difficult especially with believing you are desirable. He did try repeatedly to show her and tell her he wanted her and was obsessed with her body but when you’ve felt your whole life like a joke to everyone because you’re curvy it’s going to take time and a lot of reassurance. I wish we would have gotten a book like The Legacy to get a glimpse of where these set of guys ended up. We get some cameos in the Legacy but wish we could get their own story.

Oh my gosh I love these hockey boys. Pablo Eggscobar is the funniest side character ever. I love that hunter and Demi’s relationship started as friends and he wanted to be a good friend to her and didn’t want to see her get hurt. The fact that he was her wingman to help her move on. And he didn’t want to ruin their friendship because she meant that much to him. He’s honestly the cutest. He showed how his word means so much to him and the fact that he remained celibate until Demi came along. He only broke it because the feelings he had towards her not just to get laid. Honestly hunter has become one of my favorite guys from this series. Garrett is number one but hunter has slid into second favorite. Demi my spicy Latina was truly amazing also. She held herself high even when being screwed over and when she knew she wanted Hunter she went for it. I love that it showed the side of traditional Latino/ Hispanic culture of wanting to please parents and how alpha male a lot of fathers are when it comes to their daughters. I love that she stood up for herself so many times even when she was nervous to. That’s so hard to do when you just want to make your parent proud. This story does deal with mental health and suicidal thoughts so trigger warning for that. The epilogue threw me for a loop that was completely unexpected.
