Absolutely one of the best listens
Revisado: 02-15-21
This book... I don’t even know where to begin. This book moved a bit slowly at first, but once I got into it, I could hardly stop listening, unless it was to just pause and reflect on the goodness of God and the power of faith. The testimonies of the persecuted church within this book will move you, and the overall message of this book will change you. You might want to also have a box of tissues with you. You will not be the same after reading this remarkable journey of a brave missionary and his discovery. Please read this book, you will not regret it! 15/10 recommend!

Historia
It was the final test. A chance to win not only the love of Allah, but the love of her father - something she had never been able to earn. Esther took a deep breath and raised her hand in the air. At the age of 18, she had just volunteered to become a suicide bomber. Defying Jihad is the true story of a girl growing up under radical Islamic rule, trained to believe her ultimate purpose was to serve Allah by dying as a jihadist. But two nights before she was to leave forever, she had a dream...one that would change the course of her destiny.

One of the best Christian Testimonies I’ve ever heard
Revisado: 08-02-20
I absolutely love listening to a testimonies of faith, and I especially adore conversion stories from Islam to Christianity. And this story is probably the most dramatic, emotional, beautiful, touching, and ministering testimonies I’ve ever heard. There were moments in which I felt as if I were listening to a story directly from the Bible. There were moments in which I felt as if I was in her shoes experiencing everything with this woman, these moments made me tear up. I have gained significant insight not only about Islam, but about remaining grounded in the promises of the Lord in the midst of suffering, and trusting completely in Jesus. The narrator does an outstanding job. I would recommend this story to any Christian seeking to grow in faith as well as enjoy a wonderfully powerful testimony, and I would encourage Christians to recommend this book to our Muslim friends as well. Amazing book. Would give it 100 stars if I could.
