Excellent story, narrator not so much
Revisado: 02-09-23
I adored this book so much I loved the characters and the messages this book touched on. Unfortunately I have to admit the narrator did throw me out of the story occasionally. Some of his narrations were just not the best, overall though I did thoroughly enjoy this story.

A Lot Better than Expected
Revisado: 01-30-23
I have never considered myself a romance enthusiast, which is why I am always hesitant on picking romance novels up. So I first read Ali Hazelwood’s 3 novellas first, 2 of them were bit of a letdown but this novel fortunately was not. Definitely loved this book and would highly recommend it. I think the reason why her novellas did not work for me is because they needed to be more fleshed out like her book.

I’m intrigued
Revisado: 01-10-23
This book was both interesting and confusing all at the same time. I did not fully understand where the plot was heading but continued listening greedily. The story is intriguing enough to keep me interested in picking up the sequel.

Average story but still interesting
Revisado: 12-21-22
The love story was kind of average but I still enjoyed this book. I am interested in continuing with the second novel and seeing where the overarching plot leads.

This is one of those series where I desperately hope to enjoy the books but I am too afraid to pick them up due to fear of being wrong. Luckily this was not the case, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and cannot wait to eventually start the sequel. Wished I had started this series sooner! Lol

Purpose?
Revisado: 12-12-22
I’m sorry I love a vampire story as much as the next girl but what exactly is the purpose of this book? It wasn’t particularly interesting or fascinating. It kept getting more depressing the more I read, the ending was the only decent part. I don’t understand why this book has become popular!

OMG I loved this book
Revisado: 12-10-22
This book definitely took me by surprise, I did not expect to love the story this much! Man the sequel cannot get here fast enough. I adored Anoor so much her journey was so heartwarming, all the ladies’ stories were. Anoor is just my favorite out the three but I love all them. I am grateful for Syrah’s self journey and I’m excited to see where it takes her. I’m also interested in continuing Hassa’s story, she’s definitely a very mysterious and interesting character.

Average horror story
Revisado: 12-06-22
This book was a decent horror story. Unfortunately I had some problems with the plot. A few extra details needed to be added and more fleshed out. The ending wrapped up too quickly. I would say this book had multi-perspectives throughout but the main one (Monica) continuously kept irritating me.

Okay
Revisado: 12-05-22
Not as good as the first book, the love story is getting really annoying. Too many moments of insecurity when so many other things are important. Nonetheless I am still interested in reading the last book of the trilogy.
