Historia
Sevana Warran, reigning prodigy Artifactor of the age, has absolutely no desire to selflessly serve her fellow man. She wants, in fact, to be left alone so that she can putter about in her workroom.
But her efforts in avoiding other people prove to be in vain. The reigning family of Windamere is no longer sitting upon the throne and the Council has instead taken power. The sole hope of avoiding the evil machinations of the Council is Bellomi Dragonmanovich, Prince of Windamere.

cute story, narrator poor
Revisado: 11-27-15
Would you try another book from Honor Raconteur and/or Cheridah Best?
not if the narrator was the same
What didn’t you like about Cheridah Best’s performance?
The narrator can't pronounce many ordinary English words. This is not only annoying, but I fear that others who listen may assume the pronunciations are correct.

terrible reader
Revisado: 09-01-13
Would you try another book from Barbara Hambly and/or Teri Clark Linden?
yes from B. Hamlbly, but if I see this reader, I will NOT purchase the book.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Teri Clark Linden?
anyone else! reader cannot pronounce "ague" and has such a stilted delivery that I am not sure I can finish listening to this book!

Historia
For Jeff Johnston, a young historical researcher for a Civil War novelist, reality is redefined on a bitter cold night near the close of a lingering winter. He meets Annie, an intense and lovely young woman suffering from vivid nightmares. Haunted by the dreamer and her unrelenting dreams, Jeff leads Annie on an emotional odyssey through the heartland of the Civil War in search of a cure. On long-silenced battlefields their relationship blossoms–two obsessed lovers linked by unbreakable chains of history, torn by a duty that could destroy them both.

missing the last chapter
Revisado: 09-13-12
What did you like best about Lincoln's Dreams? What did you like least?
I love willis's style that sucks the reader or listener in to improbable situations and accelerates the excitement and uncertainty
Any additional comments?
last chapter was missing. the last 20 minutes was a replay of the middle of the book.
