Geared to a younger audiance than I was expecting.

I was expecting a young adult book in this is definitely more for a pre-teen/young teen based audience. The narrator increases the youthful feel of the book. I felt the main character was definitely immature for a 17 year old who is supposed to save the world. I feel like in reality there's a whole range of maturity levels in teenagers but to have a teenager who is supposed to be coming into powers still acts like a junior high kid is not the kind of character I want to read about.

I couldn't get into it. There were too many different story lines and points of view coming at you and then changing before you could connect with a character. Plus things were a little disturbing. It was not for me.
