I read this story a while back and just had the pleasure of listening to the audio version. Beautifully narrated by Katie Noland, this was a listening experience I won’t forget! The author opens with an introduction and ends the audio version with some interesting facts and statistics. It was a real eye opener and brought some horrible issues to light. I enjoyed this personal addition to the story because it left me with so much to think about. I also learned more about the characters and they became more real. Katie captured the highs and lows and carried the story well. Her voice was soothing and easy to follow.
I was familiar with the story having read the paperback version previously. No Pit So Deep is a Christian adventure romance that takes you from the deepest pit to the highest emotional peaks. It elicits a whirlwind of feelings as it dives deep into the evils lurking in the darkest places and shows you just how gracious and loving God can be. It’s a personal journey for Cody and I enjoyed seeing how God blessed him as his faith is tested and strengthened throughout the story. Cody and Brandi come alive in this audiobook. Inspiring and thoughtfully written, James Miller proves he is a master storyteller. I highly recommend this series!
