Love Eclipse
Revisado: 08-12-20
The Twilight Series is 1 of my favorites and Eclipse does not disappoint. I was not super crazy about the narrator, I felt she sounded too old for the character, but she did amazing when telling the Native stories and was pleasant to listen to, so I did not mind too much. I tend to skip New Moon and listen to the rest of the books because it just makes me sad. I'm excited to listen to Breaking Dawn now. It is my favorite out of all of them.

Historia
When Edward Cullen and Bella Swan met in Twilight, an iconic love story was born. But until now, fans have heard only Bella's side of the story. At last, listeners can experience Edward's version in the long-awaited companion novel, Midnight Sun. This unforgettable tale as told through Edward's eyes takes on a new and decidedly dark twist. Meeting Bella is both the most unnerving and intriguing event he has experienced in all his years as a vampire.

now I have to start the series over again
Revisado: 08-09-20
I don't know what it is about this series that makes me so crazy and engrossed. maybe in a child at heart, but I'm ok with that. the minute that I found out that this book came out, I rushed to use my credit for it. there were moments like the car chase they I felt was a little bit too dragged out. however, I still enjoyed every minute of this book. it was very awesome after all of these years to see Edward's perspective to everything. I was not crazy about the narrator, not a good choice in my opinion. his female voices were terrible, even my daughter mentioned something about it when she overhead. but for the story, I was able to push that aside. if you like Twilight, I very much recommend getting this. if you aren't a die hard fan, then maybe you might not enjoy it. it is, after all, over 25 hours. (but if you are a fan, it'll seem like it isn't long enough)

pleasant surprise
Revisado: 06-14-20
When I first began listening to this, I was disappointed because I thought it would be a continuation of the first book of this series. But I continued despite this and became more intrigued by the story as I got more into the book. it felt like a cliche romance, but I loved it despite this and would listen to it again.

Historia
Everyone has secrets, and Rachel Holloway is no exception. She’s worked hard to keep the past where it belongs: dead and buried. And so far, she’s been very successful. But now the small newspaper where she works wants to produce a podcast on a cold case: the disappearance 12 years ago of young Molly Forster. Some secrets should never see the light of day, and, as far as Rachel is concerned, whatever happened to little Molly is one of them.

I found the story to be a little slow, but I still could not stop listening. I loved the storyline and the characters although the boyfriend kind of irritated me. I understand where he was coming from, but at the same time it was annoying that a near stranger was more supportive than him.

Cassie McDowell’s life in 1980s Minnesota seems perfectly wholesome. She lives on a farm, loves school, and has a crush on the nicest boy in class. Yes, there are her parents’ strange parties and their parade of deviant guests, but she’s grown accustomed to them. All that changes when someone comes hunting in Lilydale. One by one, local boys go missing. One by one, they return changed - violent, moody, and withdrawn. What happened to them becomes the stuff of shocking rumors. The accusations of who’s responsible grow just as wild, and dangerous town secrets start to surface.

It was just ok
Revisado: 03-26-20
I felt like the ending felt unresolved. The story had a lot of information that I felt was unnecessary and unrelated to the story. I didn't dislike it, but it wasn't one of my favorites. I continued to listen to it, waiting for it to get more interesting or suspenseful and just didn't feel like it did unfortunately. Just because this book wasn't for me doesn't mean that you won't like it. I just prefer more suspense.

Had me on the edge of my seat
Revisado: 03-24-20
I deducted 1 star from performance because the narrator's nose whistling while she was breathing would bother me so much sometimes. I'm very weird about noises like that, I know I'm probably super picky. Most of the time I didn't hear it and it was fine, but there were times that it was really bad and I had to force myself to not focus on it. The story was so good. I was so engrossed in it, and felt so sad by the entire thing, knowing that these things happen. For those that are bothered by stories about abduction, abuse and rape, this probably isn't the book for you. There was not extreme detail or anything, but there was mention of the act several times and could be bothersome. I will definitely be checking out other books by this author.

Crazy and unexpected
Revisado: 03-22-20
I really enjoyed this book. The story had my attention and the narrator did a decent job. Her different voices weren't very distinctive, but it was enough to keep the characters straight. I did not expect the way that it ended .

I honestly am not sure why I even listened to the entire book. I feel like the story was drawn out. The description is basically what the book was in its entirety. It was sad and just not really my kind of book.

I absolutely loved this *Spoiler*
Revisado: 03-17-20
This book had the perfect amount of romance and suspense to keep the story interesting. I do feel like rhere should be a trigger warning here in the reviews for a part in the book for those that are bothered by abuse. But thankfully, it is not a huge part of the book.
I do think it is a little unhealthy that the main character is going straight from an abusive relationship right onto a different relationship. Especially how at the end, the man told the child who has just lost his father "I'll be your daddy". That bothered me a lot. But aside from that, I thought it was so sweet and I'm glad that the main character was able to get away from the horrible relationship and be happy again.

Disturbing and gripping
Revisado: 03-15-20
This story gripped me from the beginning. I hated to stop it when I had to go to work or do something where I could not listen to it. I saw many reviews complaining about the animal abuse and how graphic the scene was. Yes, it was very sad and disgusting, but I did not think that the author went into too much detail at all. I think she explained the situation as best as possible without being gorey. The story is about a very disturbed little girl that does horrible things and how it affects the banking that adopts her. If that isn't your cup of tea, then this book isn't for you. Some reviews complained air the ending, but I personally think that she wrapped up everything. Yes, it did end more open to the imagination. But after everything that happened throughout the book, it isn't hard to figure out what the couple likely decided to do. Not every book has a happy ending and this one is certainly no exception.
