Historia
After her editor tells her she needs to "up the spice" in her books (literally Amber's worst nightmare...), she is at a crossroads of what to do with her career. When the opportunity arises to go on a writer's retreat at an exclusive château in the beautiful French Alps, Amber reluctantly agrees, hoping a change of scenery will help with inspiration. While she tries and fails to spice up her writing - with the unhelpful guidance of the eccentric romance writers at the château - she meets two leading men who cause her own real-life romantic comedy to unfold.

I always love the hilarious narration style and relatable imperfect characters in these audiobooks. Keep them coming!

Historia
The holidays are supposed to be fun, right? Parties, shopping, hot cocoa, festive sweaters, and celebrations with family and friends—it all sounds like a dream. But this year feels different and complicated, at least for me, Lucy Ferguson. My brother's spontaneous engagement has thrown my family into a tailspin, and to add to the chaos, the return of Chase Anderson, the local hockey star, has brought a whole new set of dilemmas into my life. I keep telling myself I'm not attracted to Chase, but my heart seems to disagree.

A refreshingly sweet & family-friendly modern romance
Revisado: 01-13-24
Isabella Tugman did a lovely job narrating this youthful tale of navigating love, holidays, work, friendships, family relationships, and soon-to-be in-laws.
It was also nice to enjoy a PG-rated story.
My favorite part was getting to know the Ferguson family and experiencing the warmth of Lucy’s relationship with her parents.
You’ll be left with all the warm and fuzzies!

There's no shortage of networking and entrepreneurship advice in books and on social media in today's world-but it's harder than ever to know what's authentic. To make matters worse, taking the wrong advice can result in superficial connections, transactional relationships, and unsatisfying interactions with others without any real rapport. Fortunately, as entrepreneur and marketer extraordinaire Joe Polish has discovered, there's a simple (though sometimes not easy) way out that begins with one question: "What's in it for them?"

Refreshing honesty

Loved this book so much! Also, as a professional voice actor myself, I was super impressed with Joe’s performance reading his book. I liked it better hearing his words from his own mouth!
I’ve already been recommending this book to others in my industry and networks.

Love this narrator!
Revisado: 08-27-17
This was such a sweet PG romance with relatable characters, plenty of sass from our heroine, and even an international flair as the story leads to Paris. Tiffany Williams did a superb job of taking on each international accent, and making Zoe sound fun and spontaneous without coming off as a ditz. She is a true voice actress!
The only reason I couldn't give the story four stars is because it was somewhat predictable, we never find out what happens to the reporter, and some of the scenes with Mitch and Zoe go a little long and lost my attention. But I will definitely check out more books in the series and those involving this author and narrator.
