Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Historia
Mallory Spencer is in charge. As the face of Soho Savvy, the advertising firm she owns with her three best friends, it's important that she's poised, polished, and put together. However, as she watches her friends couple up and settle down, she wonders about her own happily ever after. One thing's for sure. It's not going to happen with that blue-eyed bartender from Showplace. It's irritatingly clear they couldn't be more wrong for each other...or have more chemistry.

In love with the Soho Loft series
Revisado: 12-15-18
I've come to adore Melissa Brayden and her quirky, romantic and relatable characters. Every time I read (listen) or re-read one of these books from this series I'm enthralled with their little world and lives.
Felicity Monroe is an amazing reader, her knack for voices to identify characters is great and I look forward to many more readings by her.

Beautiful and Well Read
Revisado: 09-22-18
Emotionally pulling, absolutely loved this book and Felicity Munroe is amazing. I felt for the characters and their situation and the affection they share. I'm bad at reviews so I never write them, but this deserves a shining one and my words don't do it justice.

Historia
The first three books in this action-packed, wildly original fantasy series by New York Times bestselling author Jasmine Walt. This kick-ass urban fantasy series has been compared to books by Ilona Andrews, Patricia Briggs, Karen Marie Moning, and more. You're sure to enjoy it if you like spunky heroines, kick-ass fight scenes, wild new worlds, and sizzling, slow-building romance.

It keeps getting better.
Revisado: 01-04-17
I was frustrated in book 1 by some aspects of the character but intrigued by the story and cast, however by the end of book 3 I was checking the number of chapters left cursing that there wasn't more. I keep wanting more of Sunaia Baine!

Fun and frustrating
Revisado: 10-10-16
I enjoyed this book, it was a fun read. The characters were engaging and colorful and overall it was a nice journey. I enjoyed the pacing and the world it painted. Many of the secondary characters were absolutely loveable and made me want to learn more.
However, the mystery aspect lacked many twists and turns and I reached the climax with a thought of "that's it?" Secondly the main character lacks much depth aside from overly emotional, stubborn and sexual. I understand that her "race" meant some of that was necessary but i found myself often shouting to no one in particular "What is wrong with you? Are you blind?" and other thoughts, aloud.
Overall it was enjoyable if a little shorter than i hoped. I was still left for a desire for the sequel. I plan to continue with the series and hope the protagonist manages to enlighten herself further than "Everyone is my enemy and I'm the victim here."
