Historia
The Fallacy Detective has been the best-selling book for teaching logical fallacies and introduction to logic for over 15 years. What is a fallacy? A fallacy is an error in logic a place where someone has made a mistake in his thinking. “A cloud is 90 percent water. A watermelon is 90 percent water. Therefore, since a plane can fly through a cloud, a plane can fly through a watermelon.” This is an easy book for learning to spot common errors in reasoning. For ages 12 through adult. Fun to use - learn skills you can use right away.

My 10-year old enjoyed listening to this book, much to my surprise and pleasure. The reader has a pleasant voice and makes the words easy to hear. The author makes the subject easy to understand. It has been enlightening to discuss the individual lessons with my 10-year old: he understands some of the examples that I don’t!! The Audible App format makes it easy to rewind so one can listen to explanations and examples more than once when needed. I haven’t yet tried listening to and reading the physical book—I am looking forward to trying that.
