Historia
The debut psychological thriller that will forever change the way you look at other people's lives. Every day the same. Rachel takes the same commuter train every morning and night. Every day she rattles down the track, flashes past a stretch of cozy suburban homes, and stops at the signal that allows her to daily watch the same couple breakfasting on their deck. She’s even started to feel like she knows them. Jess and Jason, she calls them. Their life - as she sees it - is perfect. Not unlike the life she recently lost.

They turn to Veronica to disprove - or prove - the woman's story.

Excellent as usual!!
Revisado: 03-10-15
If you could sum up Veronica Mars: Mr. Kiss and Tell in three words, what would they be?
A perfect Veronica Mars story. I can visualize every character. I love that the book series took off where the TV series left.
Have you listened to any of Rebecca Lowman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have and I find her to be a very good narrator. I have listened to Fire and Ice by Julie Garwood and Chasing Fire by Nora Roberts. I really enjoy her narrating. I did miss Kristen Bell at the beginning but Rebecca did a good job.

Historia
The Profiler's Daughter is a psychologically haunting thriller that combines murder mystery, love triangle, and family intrigue in one satisfying page burner. Sky Stone was born into the wealth and privilege of Boston's oldest Brahmin family but chooses instead to follow in the footsteps of her deceased father, legendary FBI profiler Monk Stone. In the chilly morning hours before the Boston Marathon, when a beautiful university student is found strangled and mutilated, her body left at the base of Heartbreak Hill, Sky returns from self-imposed exile to investigate.

Terrible Narration
Revisado: 06-15-14
What would have made The Profiler's Daughter better?
A different narrator, one that can handle male voices.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
I couldn't finish the book, I couldn't take the narration anymore.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
Badly.
What character would you cut from The Profiler's Daughter?
The male voices were so bad I would cut all of them just so I wouldn't have to listen to that again.

So BORING!
Revisado: 06-08-14
What disappointed you about Saving Faith?
I am a fan of Baldacci's writing but this audiobook is so bad. My mind wanders, it's so boring. The narration is really bad too.
What was most disappointing about David Baldacci’s story?
There just really isn't a plot to follow. It's all about what a bunch of bureaucrats are doing and thinking and there back stories but very little about saving Faith. I am on chapter 16 and still it's about the bureaucrats. Not my kind of book sorry.
How could the performance have been better?
The narrator drove me crazy with his type of narrating. Old time gumshoe type narration.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Frustration because it could have been a great book if you cut out all the chapters and chapter of information about these bureaucrats, I really don't care, just get on with the story.
Any additional comments?
I'm sorry I purchased this book. Usually I am very happy with Baldacci's books, but this one is no good.

Loved it. Brings back many VM memories ❤️
Revisado: 05-20-14
Would you consider the audio edition of Veronica Mars to be better than the print version?
Absolutely! With Kristen Bell narrating it can't get better then that. Great story.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
The plot was very good, the twists were perfect.
What does Kristen Bell bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Kristen Bell brought Veronica and Mac to life.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I enjoyed the entire book. Never a dull moment.

Narration was TERRIBLE
Revisado: 08-12-13
What disappointed you about Bombshell?
The narration is so blasé. No personality at all.
Would you recommend Bombshell to your friends? Why or why not?
Not the Audio version
How could the performance have been better?
Use better Narrators. Get into character, change the voices a bit. It's really hard to tell who is talking since the male voice never changes from on male character to another. Same with the female voices, she is weak in all characters.

This was a Non Starter for me.
Revisado: 12-10-12
Would you try another book from Michael Connelly and/or David W. Collins?
Not a fan of the narration either. I thought it was a bit on the slow/somber side. I probably would lister to another one, Michael Connelly usually does good work. I love Harry Bosch
What was most disappointing about Michael Connelly’s story?
The story didn't grab me and then it was over without an ending.
Would you listen to another book narrated by David W. Collins?
Maybe.
Did The Safe Man inspire you to do anything?
It inspired me to listen to The Black Box, a Harry Bosch Story. I really need a good book after this non starter.
