Historia
Thanks to paper-thin walls and the guy’s athletic prowess, Carolyn is gaining an - um - intimate knowledge of her new neighbor's nocturnal adventures. And since Caroline is currently on a self-imposed "dating hiatus," and her neighbor is clearly lethally attractive to women, she finds her fantasies keep her awake even longer than the noise. So when the wallbanging threatens to literally bounce her out of bed, Caroline, clad in sexual frustration and a pink baby-doll nightie, confronts Simon Parker, her heard-but-never-seen neighbor.

Started well but then got rather tedious

Any additional comments?
I enjoyed this book at first because it was funny, although in a rather over the top way but about 2/3 of the way through I got really bored. It just dragged on and I couldn't see where it could go. I didn't manage to finish it.

Enjoyable fluff
Revisado: 10-12-13
Did Rosalyn Landor do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
I enjoyed this book but I had a problem with the voice the reader used for the hero - it made him sound stuffy and not at all sexy.

Ropey Scottish accent but not too painful
Revisado: 04-22-13
Any additional comments?
Being British, I downloaded this with trepidation. Usually, when an American narrator attempts a English, Scottish or Irish accent it ruins the story for me. In this case, the Scottish accent isn't particularly authentic but at least I could manage to suspend disbelief enough to listen.

Enjoyable but some flaws
Revisado: 10-07-12
Any additional comments?
I enjoyed this book but I'm not sure why it's necessary for the series to be set in the future. It would have worked the same being set in the present. The narration is good but I found the Irish accent jarring - it isn't very authentic.

Disappointing

Any additional comments?
I was looking forward to listening to this as I've read the book but it is ruined by Colin's appalling voice and accent. The narrator makes him sound like he's an 80 year old chinless aristocrat rather than a sexy man. Is this what Americans think the British sound like?

Why not use a British Narrator?
Revisado: 12-25-08
I am British and I find the reading of this great book very irritating. The narrator is clearly American as her British accent keeps slipping, and her attempts at regional accents are terrible - the Scottish being particularly cringe worthy. She has a lovely voice and makes a brave attempt but on the whole Americans find British accents difficult so why not use a British narrator? I found myself waiting for all the slip-ups ('noospaper') rather than following the story.
