The narrator was fabulous!

I wasn’t going to leave a review until I saw the hateful bashing of the narrator in the reviews. You need to calm down. Amanda Cobb did an excellent job. Just because it’s not the same narrator as the first two books doesn’t mean you should bash the current one in the comments. A job is a job and she did a good one. Shame on all of you. I hope this doesn’t deter her from continuing.
As for the book … the acotar series isn’t BAD, but it’s not great either. It’s definitely not worth all the hype it gets. It was a struggle to get through the first book. I wasn’t going to continue until someone told me the second one is much better (ACOMAF). It was okay just like this one. I like the series enough to finish it, but you won’t catch me getting a tattoo or naming my daughter Feyre like everyone I see on TikTok/booktok.
Why the “okay”? It’s predictable. I guessed how this book would end just like I did the first two books early on. I guessed the riddle in the first book immediately and had to roll my eyes. These books are cliche. Also I’m not sure if any of you are aware, but Rhys is Feyre’s mate. I don’t think they said that in the book enough times lol.
They aren’t terrible though. The author does a wonderful job of describing fantastical things. It’s a nice escape and I care about some of the characters (cough *not Feyre* cough) enough to stick around and see what happens.
PS- I don’t get the Tamlin hate at all. If you think about the story from his point of view, Feyre is just as bad if not worse. Y’all need to calm down about him too.

Historia
In 1920-1921, Woodrow Wilson and Warren G. Harding met a deep economic slump by seeming to ignore it, implementing policies that most 21st-century economists would call backward. Confronted with plunging prices, wages, and employment, the government balanced the budget and, through the Federal Reserve, raised interest rates. No "stimulus" was administered, and a powerful, job-filled recovery was under way by late 1921. Yet by 1929, the economy spiraled downward as the Hoover administration adopted the policies that Wilson and Harding had declined to put in place.

Great for history buffs!

Ver detailed description of the years and anecdotes to boot! I would say one drawback is the stories may require some more knowledge about economics and history to grasp the full story portrayed.
