Narrator makes this impossible
Revisado: 06-07-21
I love this series but just couldn't listen to this one. Tje narrator is horrible. He doesn't talk in a normal tone, He tries to make every sentence sound suspenseful. Thankfully Vince Flynn is good about getting you up to date, I guess in case you missed the previous book

On the backs of their magnificent telepathic dragons they flew to flame the deadly stuff out of the air before it could reach the planet's surface. Andrew did it again!!
Revisado: 11-13-16
I love Andrews work. The dedication and authors note at the end just about made me cry, so from a Marine Mom THANK YOU
Andrew said some people complain that in all his books he describes Nathan and Harvey's back history but if you've read all his books you'll notice a little bit more added.
Andrews books never fail and are action packed pretty much all the way through. I have yet to read any other Author that comes close to his work. Mitch Rapp is probably the closest. I love that Andrew's book show his, Nate's and Harvey's love for our country and our Men and Women in uniform. You'll love this book just as much as the others. Andrew does not disappoint.
As always Dick Hill does an awesome job. He's the perfect narrator for this series. It baffles the mind how consistent the characters voices are from book 1 till hopefully book 20. Harvey sounds the same in all them.
Andrew and Dick are a great team. Keep up the good work. In any of my reviews I don't go into to the story line and events because I think it ruins the book. when I read a review all I want to know is "Was the book great just like the others". And yes This one is just as good. Although I'd still like to see Nate an Jin do a mission together (hint, hint). Congrats on another successful book Andrew!

loved it
Revisado: 09-05-15
my first book by this author and won't be the last. I read/listen all different types of books, but it's been awhile for a romantic western.
This book had a strong story line and strong characters. With lots of unexpected twists. Ms Fyfee does a good job building the characters and backdrop. if you close your eyes you can picture the setting.
This book is about strangers becoming family first out of need (and trickery) and then love. You can almost feel the emotions building and you know what they are thinking because Ms Fyfee doesn't leave anything out.
As for Phil Gigante he's always been one of my favorites and he does not disappoint.

Even though Meg Anderson's hell-raising days are over, coming home to Anderson Butte isn't easy, especially when her impossible-to-please dad is the mayor and her do-gooder siblings run the place. But with another job lost and the gorgeous father of her daughter trying to make contact after disappearing three years ago, a break is definitely in order. Hopefully the little town filled with big, juicy secrets can help.

just as good as Virgin River
Revisado: 07-13-15
Robyn Carr is one of my Favorites. Her Characters are so strong and the details she gives build a perfect image. She doesn't move on to new characters in the next book and forget about the previous ones. Her books are more about the towns as a whole instead of just focusing on specific characters in each book. she introduces new characters in each book and builds them until it's their turns.
This book is a great introduction to a new town. I gotta tell you, I'd be happy living in Thunder Point or Virgin River.
Therese Plummer is an awesome narrator. You know which character is talking and how they what emotions they are feeling. She an Robyn are a great team.
If you live in a big city take a vacation with Robyn Carr to Thunder Point but be warned you won't want to leave.

I'll have to revise my review after I read the book. with the narration I haven't been able to get past chapter 3. Her voice is so monotone that it's impossible to figure out who's talking and what their mood is. It's just plain bad

there wasn't as much thrill and suspense in this one. but there is definitely more insight into the characters. as always Dickinson Hill did a great job. I think if the narrator ever changed it would be very hard to listen to. I'm excited and anxious for book 5.
