Excellent and well told
Revisado: 08-16-20
This book has been required reading for my sons 10th and 11th graders since it was published. It is an excellent update on a historically biased history of this country. Well worth the time it took to listen, replay and take notes!!

Ill read the third
Revisado: 10-27-16
Wasnt as good as book one. Love Luke and look for books that he has narrated but alot of the voices sounded the same for book two. Seems like all the men have a country accent or sound like the same voice for the character Three. But I will still buy the third book and hope the ending is better,

Historia
Fourth in the series of Charlotte and Thomas Pitt mysteries, Anne Perry's Resurrection Row explores the dark undercurrents that run through the lives of the idle rich in Victorian England. After a wonderful night at the theatre, Thomas and Charlotte find themselves confronted with a corpse in the driver's seat of a cab. Even more shocking, it is the body of a peer who had been decently buried the week before.

But the endings are always left like she just got tired of writing. I keep wanting a tidy wrap with an epilogue and it just does not happen.

Dragonfly In Amber
Revisado: 09-10-12
Would you listen to Dragonfly in Amber again? Why?
No, it was very long. I would listen to selective chapters again. Since the books have been out for a number of years, I don't have to wait for the next in the series which means I don't have to go back and read the last book to remind myself of what's happened.
What does Davina Porter bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The accents and proper pronounciation of the different names. Her emotion and tone keep it interesting.
