Historia
A Confession, or My Confession, is a short work on the subject of melancholia, philosophy and religion by the acclaimed Russian novelist Leo Tolstoy. It was written in 1879 to 1880, when Tolstoy was in his early fifties. The book is a brief autobiographical story of the author's struggle with a mid-life existential crisis. It describes his search for the answer to the ultimate philosophical question: "If God does not exist, since death is inevitable, what is the meaning of life?." Without the answer to this, for him, life had become "impossible".

Excellent book

I really enjoyed the narrator. As for the book it is a must read. If you're looking for some direction in life. All is not lost. This will add to who you are as a person and provide you with lots of food for thought in your life. Whether it be about religion, the people in your life and relationships, family and your purpose. This is short and to the point. Wished I read this awhile ago.

Historia
In Being Mortal, best-selling author Atul Gawande tackles the hardest challenge of his profession: how medicine can not only improve life but also the process of its ending. Medicine has triumphed in modern times, transforming birth, injury, and infectious disease from harrowing to manageable. But in the inevitable condition of aging and death, the goals of medicine seem too frequently to run counter to the interest of the human spirit.

Well done and as I'm helping taking care of my dad with dementia I'm understanding more of the internal thoughts that must have gone on when he was first diagnosed. Also helps me do know how to communicate with someone who may be going through a hardship and create more understanding. Thanks for writing this book!

Excellent book. I would almost describe this as a great collection of ideas from a variety of books that has been broken down in summary form. I do appreciate how she adds more detail to some of the ideas and highlights the 5 second rule.

Time Warrior is a revolutionary, non-linear approach for dealing with time, as bold as it is fresh and new. Forget whatever "guidebooks" you may have read/listened to on time management or personal productivity. Time Warrior is much more than tips and tricks. Steve Chandler has given us an invitation - as well as a challenge - to become something far greater than we are now. To become, in essence, a "style tracker" rather than a "time tracker".

Historia
Anger is a universal human experience. For many of us, it is the single greatest challenge in every area of our lives. We have been taught that anger itself is a sin and should be avoided at all costs. However, anger is also understood to be 'nature's way' of preparing man to respond in times of danger. How then do we go about bringing this volatile emotion under the Lordship of Jesus Christ? Gary Chapman gives us the perfect tool to answer this and many other questions in The Other Side of Love.

listen listen listen... a great book that points out a lot of areas of yourself that may not have developed in a healthy manner that you may not of realized. He gives lots of great insight on how to interpret and handle both your own and the others feelings and how our emotions interact with each other as well as how the choices we make influence the outcome in a positive or negative manner.

Revisado: 05-03-17
After having the opportunity to date a controlling person I have been obsessed with learning more about myself. I've read lots of books and have also learned a lot about attachment and had read his book Boundaries. This book is at the top of my list. If you've found yourself attracting narcissists and borderlines I'd highly recommend this book.
