Historia
Dalinar Kholin challenged the evil god Odium to a contest of champions with the future of Roshar on the line. The Knights Radiant have only ten days to prepare—and the sudden ascension of the crafty and ruthless Taravangian to take Odium’s place has thrown everything into disarray. Desperate fighting continues simultaneously worldwide—Adolin in Azir, Sigzil and Venli at the Shattered Plains, and Jasnah in Thaylenah. The former assassin, Szeth, must cleanse his homeland of Shinovar from the dark influence of the Unmade.

Weakest Entry in SLA but for all that not bad
Revisado: 02-17-25
Too preachy. Kaladin becoming a therapist in 10 days (though concluded well!) and really cringe worthy dialouge, modern politics and heavy expository work.
Still, Sanderson weaved it together well at the end. Ill still be back for volume 6

One of the best fantasy stories that exists
Revisado: 10-22-23
I’ve read so much fantasy.
More than most people that I’ve ever met .
Siri is from that perspective that I say that this is one of the most compelling, engaging and beautiful stories ever told .
Kudos, Tad!

Historia
Deep below the University, there is a dark place. Few people know of it: a broken web of ancient passageways and abandoned rooms. A young woman lives there, tucked among the sprawling tunnels of the Underthing, snug in the heart of this forgotten place. Her name is Auri, and she is full of mysteries. The Slow Regard of Silent Things is a brief, bittersweet glimpse of Auri’s life, a small adventure all her own. At once joyous and haunting, this story offers a chance to see the world through Auri’s eyes.

Rothfuss gets it
Revisado: 09-24-17
What he understands are the intangible knowings of the soul. The ache. The secret songs we dance to in our dreams. You know who you are. If you read his work you will know the depth from which I speak. You will here the ministrations of your own soul played solumnly and perfectly through his mythology.
