Though I loved the narrators, this was not interesting to me. Pretty boring. And why does it have to be the separate books. I want to know the end but not that bad.

Max & Sophie: very cute and interesting concept. imagine it's almost your wedding day and you find out some terrible news about your fiance... what do you do? go on with the wedding, call it off or both? yeah I know, both? how does that happen? that's where you call in "the objector". someone who will come to your wedding as your guest that you hired and their sole purpose is to wait until the priest or officiant asks is there are any objections, then stand up and state the issue. that's how Max meets Sophie. he's hired by her best friend and MOH to do just that. after that they become friends and Max talks her into "objecting" with him at another wedding. it's definitely cute and at times funny but not bust a stitch funny or almost pee your pants funny just a giggle or two. the two have a serious spark and could set a firework stand on fire but they have both been burned and do not want to go through that again. except, the hear wants what the heart wants.

Wesley & Josie: triggers- learning disability. a really good friends to lovers romance. Josie is moving temporarily to San Francisco for a job at the library. on her first night, she's locked out of her friend's apartment and on her trek to find her friend (less than appropriately dressed) she runs into Wesley who saves her. this book is so freaking hot.. I got a little bothered. when her temporary apartment falls through she has to go to her brother, Captain of the City's pro hockey team. when his solution turns out to be her savior from the night before everything gets a little awkward. until they become friends and start pushing the lines of friendship and roommates. I really enjoyed this.

Noel and Parker- this is a sweet little second chance romance for two characters who grew to together and became best friends. Once they were old enough, one wanted to move to LA and the other wanted to stay in their home town. only problem is that they knew they were in love with the other but never considered the question... "should I stay?" or "should I go?" now Noel is back and he wants to take that chance. I liked the characters and it's definitely steamy but the stars of the book are definitely Noel's Gran and Parker's mom because all the funny moments come from them. still a good story though.

Brohan & Ruby: this is a slow burn romance about a food writer deciding to pick up and move up Scotland in order to write her own cookbook. she ends up in a small town where the people are charming and the food is amazing. she's taken in and welcomed by members from the town. I found that this book is extremely slow and also very boring to me. the rest narrator was nothing less than one noteot throughout the book.

so I liked the concept of this book but I have to say that the story dragged on and on. the narrator did not help matters in his monitor. it took my a week to get through this book and it usually takes me a day at most to go through a book this long. the female character was annoying and has no sense of self preservation or spatial awareness. the male character is just a typical alpha male. nothing really special.

Slade & Blakely: triggers- domestic abuse, child abandonment. really good story dealing with dating someone younger and dealing with a difficult boss. This book is a little funny but mostly hot and sweet. I enjoyed it. Plus the narrators were great.

Noah & McKenzie: trigger- loss, grief, military, gun trafficking. McKenzie's brother has recently passed and the only way she sees through her grief is to do everything that's on his bucket list. Noah is a grieving ex Navy SEAL, currently working with the cartel in order to gain revenge. He's given the order to follow McKenzie to try to find guns that have gone missing. What they never expected was for Noah and McKenzie to fall for each other. This is a good story, slightly slow burning but when it heats, it's a full on blaze. There's action and mystery as well as some sweet moments. I really enjoyed it all except the FREAKING CLIFFHANGER!!!

Canon & Farrah: triggers- sexual assault, assault, gun violence, family discord, mental health, grief and trauma. This book was really good. Farrah, after dealing with her rich family and cheating fiance had had enough and breaks ties with them. She only maintains a relationship with her brother and the family driver. She gets a job at a bar and that's where we meet Canon. Canon is known as the playboy of the town. He lives a great life with a great family. He's immediately interested in Farrah but she is having none of that. The story is a slow burn but there's so much going on that the intimacy really wasn't needed. However, when the author gives it to us, it's definitely hot but also a touch concerning. I love how protective Canon and his family become over Farrah. So good. I've already grabbed the second book to this series.

The pack & Esme: triggers- why choose, BDSM, self esteem, mental health, helicopter parent, grief. Now I have to say that I'm shocked that I actually finished this book. Though it took me over a week because.. eww.. I can't even. I'm in no way a prude but this was easy to much. First of all, I do not like "why choose" books however, I have been surprised a couple of times so I decided to give this a chance. This book has a good plot however there's an extreme amount of hardcore porn, to the point that the plot gets sidelined for most of the book. It's definitely steamy. I loved the personalities of each of the guys and Esme's twin sister. Esme was extremely broken right from the start and had very little backbone which drove me nuts. Since I listened to the audiobook, I have to say that I will listen to Aiden Snow all day, every day. I just wish he read more than he does. Leesa Lamb- she is okay but her "O" voice was so annoying and obnoxiously fake. As for this Omega verse.. THIS IS NOT MY JAM! Especially without the actual shifter element. It drove me nuts in this book where they would do something explicitly animalistic like a purr, growl, scenting and knotting which is something that humans do not do IRL. Because I can not imagine (though this is just a story) humans doing these things. Except the growling because... That is really hot when a sexy man growls at you. I would prefer to just read an actual shifter book instead of this "genre". This book was interesting, not bad, just not for me and it got really good at the end.
