Kiki Pew was a founding member of the Potussies, a group of women dedicated to supporting the President, who spends half the year at the “Winter White House” just down the road. Meanwhile, Angie Armstrong, wildlife wrangler extraordinaire, is called to the island to deal with a monster-sized Burmese python that has taken residency in a tree. But the President is focused on the disappearance of Kiki Pew.

Rollicking good listen
Revisado: 09-11-20
Great for giggles and laughs as a hermit governor tried to take down the president with VERY BIG python. Carl at his satirical best.

Melodramatic hysterics
Revisado: 08-02-20
So hard to listen to because of the continual melodrama and near hysteria from the characters. Insane. Those women were bred to have composure not to act like they are portrayed. Can hardly listen to the story because of all the over acting.

Terrible fake accent
Revisado: 09-19-19
If you are going to drawl at least drawl like a real southerner not your idea of what a southerner sounds like. Really annoying accent ruins what would otherwise be a good book.

Historia
With courage, grace, and powerful insight, bestselling author Kristin Hannah captures the epic panorama of World War II and illuminates an intimate part of history seldom seen: the women's war. The Nightingale tells the stories of two sisters, separated by years and experience, by ideals, passion and circumstance, each embarking on her own dangerous path toward survival, love, and freedom in German-occupied, war-torn France—a heartbreakingly beautiful novel that celebrates the resilience of the human spirit and the durability of women. It is a novel for everyone, a novel for a lifetime.
