The story line was burried under toooooo many people, with to many combined relationships...... and the ending....hard to believe how the money reached its final resting place....... by the way....how did it.?????not to bad, but not the usual James Patterson page turner.....

Convoluted...A Tedious Listen

Not for me....too many characters that I found very difficult to connect......the story line was not strong enough to keep me going forward.....had to go back and listen again.....I finally stopped listening on chapter 32.....maybe I will finish some time down the road ????

Short Stories.....Some feeling unfinished......

Was not ready for short, some unfinished ,stories........
Some of the narrations were poor and made listening difficult.....could not finish some.....
Not worth a credit !!!!!!

NOT ONE OF THE GREAT ONES

I found this a story weak and difficult to peak my interest....I continued to listen, hoping it would get better.....it didn't.....
Not able to identify, where the real story was....lots of extraneous plots that did not lead to anything solid, and various voices that added to the confusion since it was difficult to know "Who was speaking"
I continued to the end.....disappointed in the book...a wasted credit

A Let Down

Was hoping to listen to another great book in the Casey Duncan Novels......although familiar residents popped up throughout the novel....the story line was heavily weighted in dead bodies, and minutia related to who and why these people were in the jungle......I never felt excited to "listen" to hear what was going to happen.....I just listened hoping it would get better....It didn't

Difficult to follow story line, uninteresting story line, got tired of hear a detailed account of what everyone was wearing......not my cup of tea, or a usual Coben novel.....

Not Worth the time or credit !!!!

The story line is weak....the opening with a girl drowned in the pool goes on and on with no conclusion, the same with the grandfather who sets his house on fire.....why ?????.......and the cop who almost jumps off a roof ??????.......the premise that they all ingested "spiked brownies" .....how/why were they singled out ?????
Too much speculation....and what happened to Noah ????
Not a good listen .....

Not Worth a Credit ,James return to writing solo

Got me again, purchased this book based on the OLD James Patterson novels that could be guaranteed good listening......
Characters were presented frequently, before you got to become familiar with them and how they fit into a shaky story line......
Some Mafia, some bad cop, some domestic violence.......all of this did not contribute to a good listen.....James, go back to solo authoring.......
