Great story, except...

Good mystery and suspense, but the f-bombs were excessive and unnecessary. I tried to return it a few chapters in, but apparently Audible only accepts returns on books purchased with credits, not sale purchases. Not cool, Audible! So I listened to the end, and it really was a good story. I probably won't buy another from this author due to offensive language.

I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this book! It's well written with the right amount of tension, emotion, and suspense. Bonus: no sex or foul language. I will be looking for more from this author!

I was hesitant to listen to this, as it's supposedly a "children's book" but I'm very glad I did. It is not for young children. It's humorous, scary, suspenseful, and tender as the little boy grows up among the dead. The cast and narrator are excellent.

It's hard to find a book without foul language and sex. This is not one of them. But to be fair, the story was interesting and the narrator pleasant to listen to. Just wish the author had left out the unnecessary garbage.
