THIS BOOK HAS TOUCHED MY SOUL
Revisado: 07-24-22
I've read this book several times. I can't put it down. it's 4:30 AM and once again my emotions have been stretched. It's a fantastic thriller that leaves my heart racing ass I hang on to each word. it's a great love story not only romantically but also the great love given as they struggle to survive the horrors of WWII struggle on the verge of starvation, and the willingness to risk death for friendships that are forged in the firey furnace of plagues, starvation, and such great loss of life, living on the edge of death for year after year. You will follow the follies of youth as they figure out how to survive by befriending the enemy only to realize the greatest regrets of choices and people they loved and trusted. Grief, loss, and realizing that so many friends and family die despite their best efforts to live and help family members and dear friends die anyway. Then living and struggling again to live with what remains after the War is over at last. The best novel I've ever read about World War Ii.

The most boring book I've ever listened to.
Revisado: 07-22-22
I liked the narrator's voice. that's why I selected this book. But it never seemed to have a storyline and didn't ever go anything. I chose it based on others comments. I never found that it had a direction of going anyplace. I like suspense and mystery. This just seemed like boring daily dialogue of regular day to day happenings.

I loved this well written story from the start. The reader was fantastic. I couldn't put it down. I stayed up without sleep totally feeling it was myself in the story. I'm sad to have it end. But the ending was like a Cinderella love story. EXCELLENT 👍👍👍

A BEAUTIFUL STORY OF TRUTH SUFFERING AND LOVE
Revisado: 02-16-22
I struggle to find the words to explain the full range of emotions that filled my heart, mind, and soul. The writer and the reader touched my heart more than any other book about WWII. My own life was deeply affected by this terrible war. what my mother suffered when she found her beloved who had joined the war in 1939 and the letter from the war office three months later that he was missing in action and assumed dead. For my mother the news was like a double edge sword. She found herself pregnant with a baby from this taboo love soon after he left for Europe. She went to a home for unwed mothers to have her love child. But, then to have to part with their baby tore her heart apart. she never recovered from those events. Later she married my father and my older sister brought her much happiness. Unexpectedly her family received a letter. He had been captured and spent most of the war in a prisoner of war camp escaping at last in the beginning of 1945. How thrilled she was to know he was alive and recovering in a hospital. When she received that letter she was pregnant with me. She hated me from almost the beginning of her pregnancy because she couldn't leave my father with my older sister and leave to wait for her first love. She secretly wrote letters to him but withheld the truth of his baby and her current family while my father was overseas in the Pacific.
She never told him she was married with a daughter and pregnant with another baby. they wrote back and forth, but she kept the truth of his baby from him and her present marriage and children from him. When he surprised her and came home unexpectedly with out telling her he was coming. He felt so betrayed by her withholding the truth from him. He refused to see her and break up her marriage. In her grief and anger she tried to kill my father. I suffered her hatred because she blamed me too.
He went on with his life and married a beautiful woman and had a family with her. You see my mother's first love was a forbidden love too. Although he was a year older than her he was also her uncle. Their love was kept in secret until three months after he left for Europe and she discovered she was pregnant with a forbidden pregnancy. Forbidden by God in this very religious family.
My heart bled with the love story and pain that was so well told and read. I was right there with them every minute. I couldn't put this book down. Her forbidden love and pregnancy explained the emotions my mother also went through. Despite searching, she never found the baby she gave up for adoption.

This Was Not Written By Ken Follett Its Purgery.
Revisado: 01-05-22
I've read and listened to the CD originally produced. the entire story has been rewritten and is NOT THE WRITING OF KEN FOLLETT. The narrator has added emotions out of his own mind and added hateful word's to change the intended meaning that was originally written by Ken Follett. They have changed the personalities of the characters in the entire story. They have left beautiful parts entirely out and ruined the entire story. I found the same slatter of a couple of his books here. Whoever re-wrote this must have thought he could do better than Ken Follett. I doubt Ken Follett even is aware of this plagerism. I've read and listened to nearly all his books. This rendition is a travisty.

This Book Changed My Life
Revisado: 04-08-21
I started reading this book with heartfelt sincere prayer. I wanted to know from God if these words written in this book were true. I found I couldn't put it down,. The things Spencer had experienced brought peace and joy to my soul. After finishing reading it the first time, many questions came to my mind that left me with a desire to know why so much had been shown to this one man. Who was he? Why did he have to go through so much suffering? My prayers were answered. Through the many trials God was preparing him for a great work he would be called to do. Through righteously and humbly enduring his many near death experiences he was formed and polished in the refiners fire. He was tested many times. Like Job in the Bible, he never murmured or complained. He was willing to go through and do all that the Lord would call him to do in preparation for Christ's Second Coming, He is a pillar of strength and has given me assurity that my own trials will prepare me to fulfill all and anything God has and will yet call me to do also. I have read this book 18 times and listened and pondered much. God has answered many of my prayers as the Lord's Spirit filled my soul, line up on line, truth upon truth.

Historia
The value of The Book of Jasher is seen in the large quantity of additional detail revealed from the period between divine creation and the time of Joshua's leadership over Israel when the Israelites enter into the land of Canaan. The Book of Jasher includes details about the antediluvian patriarchs, angels, watchers, the flood, the tower of Babel, and many other events mentioned in the Bible. The tales are expanded and infused with detail not previously available. This means we receive insight into the lives of Abraham, Noah, Enoch, Joseph, and many others.

I enjoyed reading this Book
I thank the hundreds who carefully took their time to give us the unedited version of life here on Earth to God's people. It makes sense of the old Testament. Buy sharing, what Paul Harvy often said, the rest of the story. it will never replace the Old Testament, but it makes is much clearer.
