Historia
For 17-year-old Elena Watkins, the world of Paegeia is not finished revealing all its secrets. During a summer break intended for relaxation, she discovers that her harrowing adventure to retrieve the King of Lion sword wasn't the destiny foretold by the cryptic Viden, a dragon with the ability to see a person's true fate. Naiveté at its finest!!!
Revisado: 01-31-24
Overall the book was pretty decent with some interesting plot twist that you do not expect. However, the heroine is just too naive for my liking. Do I think it is still a good read? Yes. Would I recommend this book to others? Probably not. Why, because it only periodically kept my interest. Also, because there are book series with similar themes that are for me a bit more interesting. Lastly, would I read it again? That's a no. I do think if you haven't read it go ahead you may like it more than I do. Everyone is different and have different tastes 🤷.

Historia
On my 25th birthday, I received a letter. My mother had left me a piece of land in her will - the farm I grew up on as a child. Her last request was that I restore it...and how could I say no? So I returned to my little town full of big memories. Nothing has changed here. Except for Grant Werther. When we were kids, I barely saw him. Now I can't miss him. The guy is huge; all muscle and beard, like some hardened mountain man. He's intimidating...and definitely sexy, in an alpha-male-cowboy kind of way.

Is this a story or is this soft core?
Revisado: 03-13-21
Now don't get me wrong I can appreciate books with a little naughtiness but this book is only naughty with no story. Like was the only purpose of this story was to talk about the H/h boinking, if so then why call it a book? The narration was okay nothing to write home to mama about but if you are looking for a very raunchy novel to get you a little excited... hehehe then this is your book. Be warned might not want to play it in the car while driving when kids or your parents are with you. Nor do you want to play it too loud cause your fellow drivers will judge you. Like that matters. Lol Hopefully this is not too much of a spoiler if so sorry. Enjoy.

Historia
My name is Venus. I'm a 200-year old killing machine and I'm trading in my daggers and sword for a sparkly dress and an obscene swimsuit. Tiny strips of Lycra are not my typical battle wear, but when in Oklahoma... Armed with a fairly decent attitude, two debatably heterosexual insane old ladies, a woman I'd wanted to kill less than eight hours ago, and the possible love of my undead life, I'm in over my head with this. Of course I have no clue what this is going to entail, but that's never stopped me before.

why this narrator!!
Revisado: 07-05-20
I'm sure this book could be good but I can barely listen to it or pay attention enough to get into it because the narrator sounds like my grandma reading a story to one of my kids. Very off putting and I don't wanna read or listen to a horn grandma. This book, which I was looking forward to because she is the one of the few black characters in the series, was very disappointing and might even just ended my completion of the series.
