The latest from the Oasthouse does not disappoint! I hungrily preordered and voraciously consumed it on my long drive. It had me laughing out loud and begging for more, like a middle aged divorcee on a one night stand!

Alan, the genius of the “Oxo-Chippy’s” was literally small potatoes compared to the overall Chef’s Special of laughs and innuendo!

Don’t hesitate to listen, Coogan’s writing ages like a vintage wine (and I’m not talking about that half bottle of Blue Nun!)

Some Nuggets Well Hidden

I have read other peoples reviews, and I have to say that by and large I have some similarities with them. The author is obviously very successful and shares a lot of his ideas with the reader

Don’t buy this book if you are looking for a simple way to become successful, or if you are even looking for clear steps on the path. The author undeniably gives us golden nuggets of inspiration, but these are well, hidden in anecdotes, boosts, and hyperbole .

I was so excited to buy it and consumed it all as fast as I could. Maybe a second listen would change my mind, but very little that I heard gave me real solutions, but moreover highlighted problems of which I was already aware.

The narrator is excellent and the occasional humor is welcome.

Classic Partridge

Coogan is a genius in both writing and performance. Living in the States now it is like having an old friend come to visit. My only complaint is that there isn’t enough of it and it would have been great to have the next tranche included. But it is abso-bloody-exactly what I needed. Steve, if you see this, you are helping us through some tough days and as a comedian, actor etc.. you probably don’t realize how special, how valuable you are. Thank You

Truth, Honesty, Motivation

Jimmy may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but his book is funny, frank, and oddly uplifting. With a keen intellect and savage humor, he is not usually seen as vulnerable. However, in this book he shows you how he overcame adversity and encourages you to be the best you can be too. I hated his stance on the jabs, he was out of line, but as a fellow comedy I found his book invaluable and his honesty palpable.
Thank you for writing this Jimmy, and do more self help stuff, you can use your platform for so much good!

Absobloodyfantastic!

Coogs, you never disappoint! Classic Partridge with an extra interview of Steve thrown in for good measure. Coogan has a gift for storytelling and painting pictures in your mind. His talent and intellect make his comedy both laugh out loud and thought provoking. Watch “The Trip” with Rob Brydon to see more genius but this book is a gem for the Patridge aficionado!

Smug Epithets

This was hard to listen to. I bought it for inspiration and motivation and ended up taking away only a couple of things that I could easily have found on YouTube for free. It just came across as smug and boastful, lacked sincerity and gratitude and for me, was a waste of time and money. If Jen Sincero gives you knowledge you can take to the bank, this guy tells you what he took to the bank! Not at all recommended!

A Must Read For Singles!

The narrator is excellent and the book is pure genius. Academic yet easy to understand, the author describes 5 personality types and how to recognize them. As you read it or listen to it, you will recognize the problem people in your life. If I’d read this book 12 years ago, it would have saved me grief, anxiety and money from dating a BPD! Never again and now I recognize why I was finding certain friends toxic. Do yourself a favor and get this book. Counselor, thank you for this excellent presentation!

Life Changing and Inspirational

There were things I didn’t like and things that I loved. I hated the “I love You’s” which of course will grate on a lot of people as disingenuous and fake! I know it’s a product of the “missing you already” brigade, but I guess if one person succeeds because they believe it, then that’s ok. I dont enjoy hearing a lady use words like “MotherF” either. It’s not that they can’t but they really shouldn’t as it always takes a classy lady from a Louis V to a Walmart blue light special!

Now Amanda is a genius, she’s beautiful and extremely smart. She has an extraordinary gift for teaching and for relating to others things that they may have misunderstood or been frightened of previously. I enjoy her voice (think “The Duchess” from Wolf of Wall Street), and her sense of humor. I am not easily impressed with self help books but this one REALLY DELIVERS!

I will buy any book she writes as she changed my life and helped me destroy some self limiting beliefs!

Buy this book and you will be very glad you did. An amazing story teller with good reason, she is the best in her field!

SHARK TANK FOR YOUR EARS

If you find Shark Tank Motivational, then you will love this! His voice is the page turner, the content inspiring and it’s the best read since “ Prayer Hacking With Nikola Tesla” for helping me reach my goals. Thanks Mr. G, awesome book that keeps on giving.
