urban fantasy with a dark side

I am loving this series, Eric is an ass whenever possible but in general tries to do the right thing. I'm enjoying the Aztec pantheon instead of the usual eurocentric pantheons in this genre.

last half was a almost a good story

too much relationship crap I truly don't care about her terrible relationships anymore. the first 10 hours were wasted time I'll never get back. it gets fairly interesting once she gets to Ireland. too repetitive if you took a shot everytime she says sociopath or metaphysics you'd have alcohol poisoning. sex scenes are redundant and too frequent. the whole situation with sin is gross.

It would have been good if she didn't stop every 15 minutes to make Anita screw someone else. I'm not even sure what was going on at this point. The sex scenes are redundant and repetitive same scenes just different dudes. The narration is horrendous the accent she gives London makes me want to claw my ears off. It's just bad.

Too much bad sex .... narrator is not great...

Mispronounced words, no real story, just poorly written sex scenes. I loved all the books through obsidian butterfly now they're mostly badly written sex, she rarely animates anymore. Just not the character I fell in love with.... Totally fine with the reverse harem just would like more plot and badassery instead of angsty whiny Anita screwing anything that moves every other chapter.

OMG first of all it's never a good idea to change narrators in the middle of a series, but Gigi is incredibly hard to listen to. I wish I would not have purchased this audio book, and just read it instead.
