I liked the way the novel move through the investigation, but I was overwhelmed by names. I couldn’t keep track of. I had to go back many times to figure out who was who I don’t know how this could’ve been solved, but it was very disconcerting.

I love the writing style of David Rosenfelt and I especially like Grover Gardner’s reading. However, the story lines are sometimes too similar I have listened to all his books to this point and the conspiracy in a couple of the books, especially this one, are a little too much for an Andy Carpenter novel. Also it is a little tiring to have to repeat the history of previous novels. I know it has to be done but,for a person who has listened to all the previous books it gets old. I will continue to listen because of Grover Gardner’s reading style

Not the best the author has written

I have listened to many of Mr Coben’s books and this has got to be my least favorite. First of all the reader was terrible. He was over dramatic and tended to draw out his words. Second of all the story line went on and on the progress of the story was too long Lastly I literally had to make a spreadsheet to keep track of who was who. I can’t recommend the book

Great story substandard ready

I have listened to all the Myron Bolitar books in order and this is one of the better ones BUT the author needs to stick to writing books and not not reading them I had problem figuring out who was speaking sometimes The previous Reader was very good at using different voices for each character Mr Cobin failed in this area I will go on to the next book and hope that we get a new reader I do like the way the author writes an his characters

A little drawn out

The reader was excellent as always The story was interesting but too long. It took chapters to move the story along at a snails pace I probably should have listened to the abridged version

Not up to the standard of the author”s books

I love the reader of these books he is excellent However, this books story was too convoluted and very hard to follow. I had to go back many times to keep track of the people involved I have listened to all the books from this author in order and this is the worst!!

Confusing

I enjoyed the banter between authors I can tell they are very different from each other but they both understand a snowflake when they see one. However, I think some sub categories should be explored. I had a little problem recognizing who was talking and when one ended and the other began

A little too outrageous

The three books together gave me an opportunity to compare Bosh's character and it seems to me that the author has made Bosh go from a clever detective to a bullheaded guy who thinks he is always right and does what he wants without thinking of others. I have read all the Bosh books to this point and I don't like the character change. Maybe the author is running out of ideas
