I studied this book inside out, hit the mark on every point needed to make for a good answer on the CASPER test, and I still got the lowest possible grade on my test. Now, I’m not sure if it’s the fault of this book, as I know that several of my peers had the same experience, and we have begun to wonder if CASPER has since changed their expectations, rendering this book to be outdated. After some further research, it has become apparent to me just how problematic the CASPER test really is.

At the end of the day, I leave 2 stars because I do feel I learned a lot feom this book- things which I have taken with me into my professional life. It was a big lesson in looking at a situation in all possible angles- something which everyone benefit from practicing.

I’m a mother of two and have read other books of the same theme that were rather unrealistic for people with families...... however this book is perfect! Written in a casual, down to earth manner which doesn’t make me feel like a slob, and coming from someone who is a mother herself and once struggled more than me with clutter. Advice is quick, easy to implement, realistic, fun, and most importantly really yielded results! I always replay this book whenever I have some time and feel like tackling some home decluttering but the advice also lasted for times when I really don’t have ANY time but toooo much stuff (kids = lots of stuff haha)

Do yourself a favour and get this book. We sleep trained our daughter at 6 months and now our son at 5. No it’s not just “leave your kid in the crib to cry.” It’s a book full of different, specific problems and how to solve them.

YES, it works. You must follow the directions properly though, starting the training and suddenly giving up and giving into your child’s cries is doing a disservice to your baby. They need to sleep through the night, do yourself and family a favour :)

I just can't get into this book. Dr. Jamie Turndorf has a podcast with better, more positive and proactive advice. This book makes me feel trapped and depressed and I don't like it! I'm too happy for this, just looking for some fun tips and info, not some dragging rambling, not even sure what this author is talking about.
