Historia
Six years earlier, Matty had come to Village as a scrappy and devious little boy. Back then, he liked to call himself "the Fiercest of the Fierce." But since that time, Matty has grown almost into a man under the care of Seer, a blind man whose special sight had earned him the name. Now Matty hopes that he will soon be given his true name, and he hopes it will be Messenger. But strange changes are taking place in Village.

Historia
In his previous work, A More Christlike God, Brad Jersak looked to the incarnation of Jesus Christ to reveal the true nature of God as self-giving, radically forgiving, compassionate love. In this follow-up audiobook, after deconstructing four counterfeit ways, Jersak explores seven facets of the Jesus Way. Christ's radical revelation of true humanity beckons us, "Would you be human? Take up your cross and follow me."

Incongruent Narration
Revisado: 11-06-20
The book has such an important message for humans about the beauty of living a more Christlike way, but the narration from the very beginning had such a scolding tone, I had to stop listening to the audible version.
I have heard most of Bradley Jersak’s YouTube teachings over the years, knowing him as a humble and teachable speaker. This audible narrator’s tonal sermonizing is why I left Churchianity for the More Christlike Way Brad is explaining in a more beautiful gospel.
