A great story, but drags often

When I first started listening to this, oh great this like a boring book. It has several spots that drag on and on. But overall if you like regency books, you will enjoy it.

I love all Dana Marie Bell's book. I've read all of them, but I do enjoy having them in audiobooks even more. This is one of my FAVORITE stories in this series. Not gonna give away any spoilers, so my advice is to sit back and enjoy the ride, cuz it does get crazy.

Great ending for a GREAT series!

I love all of Frank's books & this series was no exception. From the first book to this last book, held me at the edge of my seat. Although there was lots of romance, there was mystery and intrigue too. Books 4 & 5 brought in several characters from Frank's demon series. It was a fantastic series & I will enjoy listening to it again.

Great story, too short

Loved it as much as when I read it the first time!

This is the first story I ever read by Anne Rice. It was the one that got me hooked onto her writing style. I enjoyed this short story so much that after reading it in a magazine, I went out and purchased every book she had about vampires at the bookstore (which was only 3 at the time). This story is short but very well written. The characters come alive with the narrating. I only wished that the story was longer. I had hoped at one time that she would take this story and revise it into a novel, but so far she hasn't. I have to say after listening to this story, I was very please with the performance. The way she told the story I could almost picture myself there in middle of it all. I enjoy stories where I can get lost in the way its narrated.
