The breathtaking conclusion is worth the protracted and multiply braided lead-up. While we might have suspected earlier, the resolution is still heartbreaking!

What a great story

One of Chute's best, it deals with some long and arduous circumstances and how persistent people handle them, without bogging down or moving too slowly.
