Historia
This, the only memoir published by a former Schindler's List child, perfectly captures the innocence of a small boy who goes through the unthinkable. Most notable is the lack of rancour, the lack of venom, and the abundance of dignity in Mr Leyson's telling. The Boy on the Wooden Box is a legacy of hope, a memoir unlike anything you've ever read.

THE SIMPLE PLAN MAKES IT ATTAINABLE
Revisado: 09-29-17
I highly recommend this book. Wendy Higdon challenges the reader to make choices now rather than make excuses. She explains the impact of negative self-talk and core beliefs that keep us filled with doubt or low self-worth making the challenge of significant weight loss overwhelming. Higdon maintains that working toward creating a new identity, creating a new body image, watching out for our triggers or being sabotaged by food choices, we can begin to sense motion and commitment. Change Your Mind, Change Your Body presents a weight loss plan that is accompanied by worksheets and goal setting in increments.

Historia
Thousands of people have had near-death experiences, but scientists have argued that they are impossible. Dr. Eben Alexander was one of those scientists. Neurosurgeon Alexander knew that NDEs feel real, but are simply fantasies produced by brains under extreme stress. Then, Dr. Alexander’s own brain was attacked by a rare illness. The part of the brain that controls thought and emotion shut down completely. For seven days he lay in a coma. Then Alexander’s eyes popped open. He had come back. Alexander’s recovery is a medical miracle. But the real miracle of his story lies elsewhere.

FABULOUS

Where does Proof of Heaven rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I have listened to audiobooks regularly for the past 25 years and Proof of Heaven is right at the top of my list of favorites. I love audiobooks because of the connection I can make to the authors and their stories I choose to read. Connection is what reading is all about.
What was the most compelling aspect of this narrative?
What I found as the most compelling aspect of this narrative was the reality of Dr. Alexander's experience coupled with his education, experience, expertise and deep understanding of life and our spiritual center, the Holy Ghost.
What about Eben Alexander’s performance did you like?
What I liked about the performance of Proof of Heaven was the personal connection with the author, Eben Alexander, because no one could present his story as well as he is able to do. His gentle and factual presentation deeply connects to the reader and allows the reader to totally share his experience.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
There were continuous moments in Proof of Heaven that moved me from the character and story development that demonstrated family connection, commitment, love, integrity, and belief in God to the facts of the actual story that kept me riveted to his audio recording.
Any additional comments?
I wholeheartedly recommend this book to everyone. I have worked in health care so could understand the medical components of Proof of Heaven but Eden Alexander presents that information in simple to understand terms that the general population can follow without getting lost.

PROFOUND
Revisado: 03-20-17
What made the experience of listening to Hear Your Body Whisper the most enjoyable?
The author's story as well as the narrator's presentation with captivating from the start. There is a peace that infuses HEAR YOUR BODY WHISPER.
What did you like best about this story?
I really appreciated Klettke's openness and gentle style. Her wisdom seems beyond her years in life. I think all people everywhere would benefit from her story and advice -- they just need to be open to the concept and allow themselves to believe in their body's wisdom.
Have you listened to any of Marnye Young’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No I have not. Her gentle demeanor fit well with the author's style and message.
What insight do you think you’ll apply from Hear Your Body Whisper?
I received confirmation of what I too believe is the benefit and truth that lies within our bodies. Affirmation is always reinforcing.
Any additional comments?
With the negative effects from the food industry that have been accruing over the past 40-50 years that have inflicted havoc upon our health, we must pay attention to the slight nuances of discomfort and learn to listen more closely to what our bodies are trying to tell us and then do our own research and make decisions to protect ourselves from the devastation that the industry perpetuates. Books like HEAR YOUR BODY WHISPER need to be widely read and heard.

Historia
In the USA, fully two thirds of the people are either overweight or obese. And less than five percent of the people who lose weight keep it off for any length of time. In The Diet Fallacies, Al Davis explains not only why this happens, but what the solution is - for you! The whole notion of dieting to lose weight is based on a false paradigm. That paradigm tries to address the symptom of the problem, not the cause.

SUCH VALUABLE INFORMATION
Revisado: 01-03-17
Would you consider the audio edition of The Diet Fallacies to be better than the print version?
I am an avid audio book listener over print book reader because I am an audio learner. I find them to be wonderful company or as a great escape mechanism for road travel or while performing mundane household chores. The book like Diet Fallacies provided me with company, knowledge and hope.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Diet Fallacies?
Diet Fallacies is a book I have been waiting for. Author, Al Davis challenges the Standard American Diet (SAD) and points to it being the cause of our nation's health crisis. It is so exciting to me that more and more people are sharing similar stories so that perhaps during the next generations' life, we might see the food industry be accountable for the devastation caused by Genetic Engineering of our plant food sources as well as the havoc caused on our health by the GMO feed given to the livestock that is part of our food chain.
Which character – as performed by Randal Schaffer – was your favorite?
Randall Schaffer performed an engaging presentation of Diet Fallacies and his first-hand narration of Al Davis's journey to the successful creation of healthy habits to overcome food addictions and weight loss seemed a natural and believable fit.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
If I were to make a documentary film of this book, the tag line would be Save Your Body --Combat the Food Industry -- Keep America Solvent.
Any additional comments?
You hardly talk to anybody these day's young or old that is not experiencing muscular, allergic or intestinal side affects from what I call the center aisle syndrome of our supermarkets. Medical conditions are rampant and all of them point back to our food sources. Way to go Mr. Davis.
