Don't imagine for one moment that I'm not watching you.... The Metropole Hotel, Brighton. After a heady New Year's Eve ball, a woman is brutally raped as she returns to her room. A week later, another woman is attacked. Both victims' shoes are taken by the offender.... Detective Superintendent Roy Grace soon realises that these new cases bear remarkable similarities to an unsolved series of crimes in the city back in 1997.

Long winded with a detective who seems to be able to work out the simplest analysis besotted with a mentally challenged suspect who he refuses to believe. Hope his skills improve markedly

Longwinded and boring
Revisado: 10-17-23
Too much superfluous detail and descriptions. Pages and pages setting out a blow by blow account of every little detail which add little to the story.

Historia
Niall and Eden Paternoster start their Sunday the same way they always do - with a long drive, a visit to a country house and a quick stop at the local supermarket on the way home. But this Sunday ends differently - because while Niall waits and waits in the car park for Eden to pick up supplies, Eden never returns. She’s not waiting for him at home, and none of their family or friends have heard from her. Gone without a trace, Niall is arrested on suspicion of her murder.

Too much family diversion
Revisado: 08-19-23
Obviously PJ is running out of ideas hence he spends huge amounts of his script to family trauma and maudlin detail of tears and recriminations on the death of his difficult son. By far not his best.

Silva should have stopped after Isabel was rescued. His descent into his view of American politics and personalities does not do justice to a good series.

That Erika can be taken in so often it appears she is pretty stupid. Why for once would she go to see people involved in a serious crime alone is proof she should be fired for incompetence

Katherine Nichols knew she’d had too many drinks, but they were only going a short distance. “There’s no traffic anyway,” Eve had pointed out. And they'd had such a great night out, the two of them. Even now, driving them home and knowing she shouldn’t, seemed almost mischievous. All part of the fun. Not anymore.
