Historia
The Shirone Kingdom summons Zanoba home, saying they need more manpower to weather a recent coup d'etat, but Rudeus doesn't buy it: could it be a trap from the Man-God? He and Roxy travel with Zanoba as protection, only to come face-to-face with the fifth of the Seven Great Powers: Randolph Marianne, the Death God. It'll be hard work to best the Man-God's machinations, especially when Rudeus never quite knows who to trust!

A more melancholy tale
Revisado: 12-14-24
Honestly, I'm very thankful to Mr. Kawfy/Cliff Kurt on reading this one especially. He's made sure to really try to read the characters as best he can and make them their own, make it really seem like it's this character or that, and honestly while reading I can't tell it isn't them. He really takes the time to make sure we hear Sylphy as Sylphie, Roxy as Roxy, and so on
All the little things and sounds. Those have made reading Mushoku Tensei perfect. It is my favorite book series, and he is perfect for it.
For this one especially. The Death gods voice, was perfect. It really fit all of how that character was.
Seriously, thank you for narrating this series Mr. Kawfy, you made my favorite book series come to life. I hope with the coming books to see hear you back for more

So much to feel in this one
Revisado: 09-15-24
Well, without spoiling anything, those that have reached this book, your finally here at the final steps to rescue Zenith. This one really hit me hard, good ups and downs, and a real life relatable story. I never tire of these books, there's a reason they are my favorite.
Real emotion, care, and love
The narrator is excellent. Honestly it's thanks to him doing the characters so well, the emotions perfectly, that has brought these books to life. Major thanks Mr. Kawfy 😊 You gave us a great gift when you did these, truly, I couldn't have asked for better

I've been waiting for this book
Revisado: 08-04-24
For those who may be reading this by itself and not watching the anime I won't add spoilers
I'll only say I've been waiting to get to this book. Finally, back where I really wanted to be. I have loved every minute of the content up to now. This is my favorite series of books. This book in particular, finally, I got the part I'd been waiting for. That's all I'll say there. Those who know the big thing for this book with certain characters know, those who don't, I won't spoil it for you
I will say I am very much looking forward to the next book. It will be a book entirely on the reason I am so happy I got to this book, except, the next book is just on those characters as the main. I am so happy : )
On a sidenote, I noticed during the waking up scene of Rudeus and *spoilers* romance. After he woke up it sounded like voice for Silfy and Rudeus was mixed up. After a few sentences the voices were corrected, but during that time I had to replay it a couple times to realize what happened, as you could tell this would've been said by him or her, but the voice was the opposite
Oh, and LOVED getting the final extra chapter. it was FANTASTIC!

My favorite series of all
Revisado: 07-02-24
Ah...I love this series, these are the best audiobooks out of all of the anime audiobooks, and is my favorite both on anime, and in book. The care and love that went into making this, and the care by the studio in continuing, the care by the narrator, you have made such a wonderful thing.
I am so happy it's been treated with such care as you all give it. Honestly the reading of this book especially was so well done, the narrator is getting really good. I'm kind of sad there's only 19 books on audiobook so far, I can't wait for all of them to be put on audiobook. I will buy them all
This was a fantastic book, was dieing to get to this book, so happy I did. I really got a lot into the characters in this one, was engaged from beginning to end. I mean, I am with all of them, but this one especially

Honestly fantastic!
Revisado: 06-21-24
I've never worried about not owning enough of the books currently that I'd have to buy more sooner rather than later to keep up with how fast I'm going through them. I dont read books that fast, usually 1 per month. I've read 3 of the Mushoku Tensei books on audiobook in the last week
At first, I think I got spoiled by the other anime audiobooks having the voice actor read the book and was negative when I first started listening to this. luckily I came back about a week or so again, and was ravenously reading this, listening to Cliff Kurt, and realized I was foolish. He's a great narrator, and he honestly does the older and younger main character's self perfectly.
I'll add the beginning and ending music for the books, I love it so much. it makes me feel truly in the wonderful feel of what Mushoku Tensei is. I honestly love everytime I start a new book, or finish one, and hear that.
I have other anime light novel audiobooks, but these are my favorite. Mushoku Tensei not only has held its position as my favorite anime since I first encountered it, but it's books as well. For those wondering, the anime is so well done that I've noticed they've almost word for word kept to the light novel. Truly the best anime. Thank you so much to all involved. I hope you keep to the same level that you have, you will leave a truly great mark in the anime/manga/light novel world. These are some of my favorite times

Fantastic!
Revisado: 02-06-24
So first off getting the actor who played Hajime to narrate was a master stroke. Especially since he voiced and did the reactions perfectly
I will note on the second narrator, at first when she started I wasn't for her in this book. I had the thought that she was a good narrator, but the sound effects for a good deal of time were more the kinds of sounds you'd do for children than an actual reading of something like this for an audiobook, so it really took away from the book compared to the already perfect sounds used before.
As she read though she really started getting better and better, and by the end really had it down.
You will, when she first comes in likely complain you'd rather just have the first narrator read it all, and I totally understand, but...as you get closer to the end you'll get more happy with her
Yes, the actor who does the voice for Hajime is fantastic and we'd happily listen to the whole book with him, but, now I can say we will be happy with both
I honestly can't wait for the next light novel audiobook to be released! Please!! It can't come soon enough
Major thanks for getting the voice actors on this, and major thanks to the voice actors for doing this. You are majorly appreciated

Very deep, much more than the movie
Revisado: 01-26-24
Having to take some time to think as I've gone through the book, over being annoyed with some things not in the movie, vs realizing what they probably needed to adjust to get it right for the movie, I will say I prefer reading the book as you get all the details, however, the movie is still good
This may begin where maybe you'll think it's light, but give it no time at all and you'll be in for quite the hard tale
The funny note is this is listed as "audible kids"
Not the first thought that would come to mind when I think of the hunger games, and some of the much harder scenes. Screaming, being mauled for hours, etc etc. Yes, quite the children's tale. I'll recommend it to Germany

Not as enthralling for me to listen to
Revisado: 10-23-23
See, the story is excellent, but...the English voice actors for Konosuba, they never really did it right. Practically blatantly
And there are parts in here, like the Dulahan at the end, which, even for someone that is a fan of the dub she hated as it wasn't even up to the level of the dub for that part. They tried to make the Dulahan sound like he was Texan, which made zero sense. Are you telling the voice actors to sound like that? Seriously?
Whoever's directing, please for the love of everything try to remember the goal is to make this as close to how the characters should sound and act as possible, not whatever pops in your head. otherwise you fail as a director and belong nowhere near the role.
I remember listening to this and this being decent. Not anything major that I want to listen to it again or even buy more of the audiobooks for it. That's where I'm at honestly. I wouldn't return it, but I wouldn't listen to the second book with them. I'd actually rather read the second book myself

An Excellent continuation of Obi-Wan's story
Revisado: 06-11-22
Truly very touching, and honestly love following Obi-Wan's tale of his events directly following part 3
This was honestly very very well done
Got to see him and how he is mentally, physically. How he interacts with people, his always true good nature
It is a joy simply to feel like being in his presence, following his tale. A warm feeling
I recommend this to anyone who wants to hear more of something not as intense, yet a lighter tale following Obi-Wan, and the events of his life setting up for his longer stay on Tattoine for 19 years
