Historia
There just isn't enough time for everything on our to-do list - and there never will be. Successful people don't try to do everything. They learn to focus on the most important tasks and make sure those get done. They eat their frogs. There's an old saying that if the first thing you do each morning is eat a live frog, you'll have the satisfaction of knowing you're done with the worst thing you'll have to do all day. For Tracy, eating a frog is a metaphor for tackling your most challenging task - but also the one that can have the greatest positive impact on your life.

For A Short Listen, This Packs A Big Punch

What did you love best about Eat That Frog!?
The simplicity of the concepts in the book are its real power. Anybody can make these changes in their lives and reap the rewards. You have a couple of hours to listen, so why not learn how to get more done in less time and start achieving your goals now?
I have read many self help/motivational books, this one offer real world, usable strategies that can be implemented in your work and personal life immediately. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
The author reads this book and there is nothing wrong with that, but at times I wished there were a little more emphasis on the actual important points to give a little more impact instead of needing to pick them out as you go.

A Lot Of Information You May Find Elsewhere

Would you be willing to try another book from Brian Tracy? Why or why not?
I have heard great things about Brian Tracy. I understand that much of the info in this seems like I have already heard from somebody else. That does not mean that he did not come up with the concepts, just that i may be a waste of time for avid personal development readers. If you are looking for this book to change your life, it very well may. However, like anything, action is what changes you, not magical words. This book is a quick listen (2hr), so if you have an extra credit and need to apply it, maybe this is a good choice. Just not as impressed as I had hoped that I would be.

Required Reading For Any Serious Professional

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
There is one thing that all successful people have in common. They must deal with people. Sometimes very difficult people, very cold people and people who don't necessarily have a lot of "personality". This book teaches actionable methods to get liked by others, find favor where you otherwise would not and simply how to become in command of your communication skills. Are some of the ideas outdated? Sure. However, there are a lot of golden nuggets here for those miners who are looking!
