This is such a good story. So well written & read. Depicted bipolar disorder excellently I think from my limited knowledge of it. Look forward to more from both the author & the narrator.

I really enjoyed this book. I don't care what anybody says, I thought it was wonderfully written & all the characters were developed the perfect amount for their role in the story. Should be made into a movie. And the narrator was simply perfect. I thought she was an older lady but in other books she's read--she's not. She just that good. Highly recommend the book & the narrator. Will look for them both again.

Amazing, Wonderful--Read it

This was an amazing story. Wonderfully written. I love the way the chapters are either from Sarah or Theodora's point of view. Great ending. The subject matter is a destressing time in our history but this book is exception. I'm thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Jenna Lamia & January LaVoy did superior jobs in the narration. I've listened to them both before but I really couldn't tell you which one was which in this book. The voices of each character were very distinct. Very easy to listen to. I cannot recommend this book more. Loved it. Would like to listen to or read more of Ms. Bodden's work.

Good story but enuf w/the 'special plcs'-Really?

This is a great story but the author overuses "special places" & sphincter. I mean--Really???? A bit juvenile. She's also redundant with some words within just a few sentences of each other & then hardly use the word again. But I really liked the story line. Just drop the silly stuff--over trying to be quirky. The narrator is excellent. Great accents & you can always tell a difference in the characters. I will read Book 4, however, despite any issues I have the extras.

Either Story or Narrator are One Dimensional

I'm not sure if it is the narrator or the storyline but I found this book to be very shallow & one dimensional. I kept listening hoping it was get better but it never did really. The hero of the story needs to stand up to his irrational pushing former mother in law. Both main characters are selfish. I kept wondering if I was actually reading the book instead of listening to it would I like it better. I don't know & probably never will because I doubt that I will listen or read any more of Ms. Woods books.

Good Stories but John--don't quite your day job.

These are just stories & by 'just' I don't mean bad. I mean they are short stories & nothing deeper than that. They are good stories that I really enjoyed. However, John Grisham needs to still to writing the stories & leave the narrating to others. He is not an actor. Just about put me to sleep. He basically just reads--no inflection hardly--no distinctive differences in the characters voices. But I still love his writing.

Great Re-read.

Read this book years ago, but really enjoyed listening to it this time. Some would say it's typical Nora Roberts following a basic pattern & they'd be right. But that's what I like about Nora. The paranormal storyline is something I don't believe in but this is fiction. I'm glad I read it again. Sandra Burr does a great job narrating.

Couldn't get passed the prologue.

I usually love Nora Roberts, but I just couldn't get passed the first few pages. When the evil force started molesting the little girl in her dreams--that's when I quit listening.

Great Story & Series But...

Great story and series but once again southern does not mean stupid. I will never understand why actors & narrators think everyone from the south is a hick & should sound like one. The character of Hayley is read in such a way you think she doesn't have a lick of sense when she's quite intelligent. However, that is my only complaint. Otherwise, the book is perfect.

Wonderful Series--How Does She Do It

This is the first of a triology that is absolutely wonderful. I am constantly amazed at how Nora puts so much detail in to her books on so many different subject matters. This series the subject is gardening. Makes the books individual & interesting. Good narrator, too.
