Historia
This week, in Longmont, Colorado, a mailman is horribly murdered, while on his daily route, in broad daylight. Detectives wonder who could be that mad at a postal carrier, but soon find out that there was one particular person, who had several reasons to want him dead. An electronic trail lets police follow the murder, and know exactly who did what, and when. This uncovers a nasty plot, that had been in the works, for months!!Along the way, we find out that nothing is actually close to Denver, that you don't want to be dying around people who won't even give you CPR, and that you can't kill ...

Jokes about child SA
Revisado: 03-12-25
Usually they do a decent job of pointing the jokes towards the crime.
But this time they included ridiculing a child victim of SA by a law enforcement officer. 😡 It doesn't matter what they did later in life, you don't joke about a child's SA as the child being attracted to "any man in uniform" and "just wanting their benefits"! 🤢
Absolutely abhorrent. They should apologize for this one and remove that part or this whole episode. It was a huge misstep and violates their opening statements to every show.

Historia
In this poignant and original coming-of-age story, indie rock musician Mark Oliver Everett tells the story of his unsteady upbringing and how it fed into his creativity. The insecure son of a genius physicist, Everett was left to run wild with his sister while his father was off in some parallel universe of his own invention. A string of tragedies would claim his family members one by one, yet somehow Everett managed to not only survive, but to make a life.

I didn't know I wanted to hear this story, but I'm glad I did

A new favorite! The story is incredibly well told. I wasn't familiar with the artist's music, but obviously they have honed the skill of storytelling throughout their life and career.
It moves like a well constructed concert, with all the highs and lows to draw you in.
It exceeded my expectations, and created a new fan. Now I want to hear more of what this author has created in different realms.
A great memoir/ autobiography that is heartfelt and human.

Historia
For Milo, everything’s a bore. When a tollbooth mysteriously appears in his room, he drives through only because he’s got nothing better to do. But on the other side, things seem different. Milo visits the Island of Conclusions (you get there by jumping), learns about time from a ticking watchdog named Tock, and even embarks on a quest to rescue Rhyme and Reason. Somewhere along the way, Milo realizes something astonishing. Life is far from dull. In fact, it’s exciting beyond his wildest dreams.

The word play and broad underlying themes make it a must-read for adults too! (AndWhyCantWeHaveMoreThan14WordsToLeaveAReview?)
