Great glimpse of Anita's past!

I really enjoyed this! It took me back to the Anita of old. And we finally get to meet her family. I was expecting Judith to be more of a bitch but I'm glad that most of her family had her back. The that irks my nerves about these current books is the amount of people in her life. I swear I can't remember most of them. Like, where did all of these lovers come from?
But I've enjoyed Slay more than any Anita Blake book in a long time. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Tired of the Will and Sara drama

I love the Will Trent books. The way that they are written are superb. I'm usually surprised by the twist that Ms. Slater puts in and I love that. My one issue is the relationship problems that plague Will and Sara in every book since they met. OMG y'all! Get it together! I'm still making my way through the books. I'm hoping that this is not going to continue in the rest.

Great story! I need more, Mr. king! I need to know if there is a connection between this and other stories. There were so many little clues dropped here there in the prose. This one is my favorite since Doctor Sleep.

I was disappointed to find that he barely talked about how to prepare the food. The family stories were nice but I wanted to hear how he prepared the tortillas and chicken soup. I'm glad that didn't pay for this.
