Absolutely loved this story. Nalini at her finest. Yhis is a murder mystery, wrapped in a love story, intertwined with a neighborhood a fun, crazy, and dedicated neighbors. wasn't expecting not being able to put the book down, but I should have known with Nalini Singh. We should always expect to be enveloped in the story to a point where you can't wait to get to the end but you don't want it to end.

I almost came to tears when I realized this was a spinoff of immortal guardians! I've loved the series since the first book and I'm always waiting for the next book in the series. and this spinoff was no disappointment. so many possibilities so many ways to go, I am so so so excited! I can't wait for book number 2.

I'm not really sure where people are getting off with their negative reviews, but I enjoyed this book. I listen to it in about three days. I love the characters, the storyline, and no I didn't think it was predictable. It's in the romance section and that's what this book is a romance novel. So if that's what you're looking for then this is seriously a great great book!

The Best Series Ever!!

I absolutely loved each and every book! each character, their story lines, the narrator's, and most importantly the final volume of the series did Justice to the build-up to the nemesis. but I truly truly enjoyed the fact that the story lines were either closed, let you know those who made it how their lives continued on, endor let you know there may be future adventures for a few of the characters. This is a series I'm sure in a year so I'll pull out and listen to again.! excellent excellent job Kristen Ashley!!

Wasn't sure I'd enjoy the multiple narrators, but it keeps each character alive and individuals narrators brings a unique quality I hadn't found in other multi-narrator books. great series!!!
