the strenght, the love enslave Blacks had for each other and accomplishments of these people .

I love these stories of unbelievable and unbearable strength. I love how so many enslaved people risk their own life, to go after,after being free to get another person.I also feel that all people should remember that
that there were many whites that help Black people to freedom.

great story.it was like listen to a girlfriend .

i enjoyed this book.it was like being with a bunch women you love and one has written their story.i m 66yrs old and the women are seniors like me and my girlfriends.i real life drama with funny twists and turns.
good read.Ms McMillan was narrator of her book and her expressions were on point.you go Terry
