Most people who read this book don't understand these two. Who's really normal after all?

This author has some of the best modern stories I've ever read. You thought you found a hot romance on Netflix? I'm sorry, but those are high school dramas compared to these.

It's a murder/thriller story

The author set out to write a kind of murder/thriller novel and they succeeded, except it's not very good. Pasta, tomato sauce, and bread are the basics to making spaghetti. You can put all three ingredients in a pot, cook it, and call it spaghetti, but it's not going to be very good spaghetti. That's what this story feels like when reading it. There's a murder(sauce), there's a body(pasta), and the garlic bread is stale(human psychology, illusions to better novels, passing comments on witchcraft, and passing comments on "antiquity").

Fun way to learn etiquette, except it's difficult to know when to take a joke or take it seriously.

When Washington gave the Newburgh Address to the senior officers of the Continental Army in New York...I couldn't help but get emotional. The speech was a response to a potential military coup because they felt abandoned by civilians living well off after their efforts. "Gentlemen, you will permit me to put on my spectacles, for, I have grown not only gray, but almost blind in the service of my country."

If you read The Bell Jar and then read into Sylvia Plaths actual life your doing yourself a disservice. Esther Greenwood is not Silvia Plath just like Ellie Higginbottom is not Esther Greenwood.

The music does not go well with this reading. It's a biased subliminal influence. "The music is so charming. It must point to some deeper meaning in the poetry..." "All poetry should have a beautiful accompaniment. The music matches the feeling of the poem exactly." "Poetry is this grand thing, and needs the best music when you read it."

The narration on this book is very well done. The book reads like a satire on the "Dark Academia" genre to me. There's hardly any subtly as most of the characters emotions are out in the open for all to judge. You can thank the bizarre and questionable practices of the teachers in the book. Very young adult writing.

Great production. Those poor messangers...sheesh. Superb theatrics especially when Antony has Octavius's messanger whipped until he cries like a boy. On the negative the production has some audio drops here an there. One occurs in ch. 2 at ~58:35.

All the plays were top notch, though I've listened to better audio productions of "The Importance of Being Earnest." If you can find the play with Stephen Frye as Lady Bracknell you're in for an excellent laugh.
