I'm sorry to say, but the narrator was a bit boring, but I like enjoyed the story. Just getting ready to listen to the next one that is available. I wish they had book #2 on audible.

what a mysterious mind the author has
Revisado: 08-27-21
I knew Ted & his family when we all lived in Monument, Colorado. I currently live in Burnet, TX ( which is really pronounced like durn it, so learn it 😊)
this book kept me on the edge of my seat. Since we live in the hill country of Texas, I could actually visualize the scenes that are described in here. I love it. keep 'em coming Ted.
Oh the mysterious mind & vivid imagination that man has. LOL

I have seen the movies first, like many in this generation. I was pleasantly entertained by new characters that I didn't know existed, for instance like Bjorn the bear. I don't recall that he was portrayed in the movies. Very enjoyable.

Historia
It's been a year since Eragon departed Alagaësia in search of the perfect home to train a new generation of Dragon Riders. Now, he is struggling with an endless sea of tasks: constructing a vast dragonhold, wrangling with suppliers, guarding dragon eggs, and dealing with belligerent Urgals and haughty elves. Then a vision from the Eldunarí, unexpected visitors, and an exciting Urgal legend offer a much-needed distraction and a new perspective. This volume features three original stories set in Alagaësia, interspersed with scenes from Eragon's own unfolding adventure.

Against his wishes and desires, Akabe Garric has been chosen by his people to be king. A warrior at heart, he’d never dreamed of such a swift, unexpected rise to power. Determined to prove his worth to the citizens of Munra and honor his Creator, Akabe undertakes a monumental task: to rebuild the Infinite’s Holy House in Siphra. Akabe soon discovers that the land he needs is held by the Thaenfalls, known Atea-worshipers who will give up their claim only if he marries into their line.

Revisado: 01-02-19
I'm always riveted to my seat wondering what's going to happen next. She has a wonderful way of keeping us guessing of what's coming up, who's going to live or who's going to die or who's going to finally give in to the infinite and die to their own ways.

Historia
Interruptions: They're aggravating - sometimes infuriating. They make us want to tell people what we think of them. But how we handle interruptions actually tell us more about ourselves. The prophet Jonah's existence was interrupted by a call of God that would require a complete change of life. And it scared him enough to make him run in the opposite direction. Yet, what seemed to him to be an unnecessary and useless interruption was really an opportunity for Jonah to be involved in something the likes of which the Old Testament world had never seen before.
