Informative and engaging interviews of various unassuming game changers. I enjoyed episode 1, plus the episodes with WesMoore and Ava Duvaney the most. Dr. Dre had a good interview also.

Historia
Ever since I met my handsome husband Dr Gabe Bonneville, I started playing the role of the perfect housewife. He works hard as a surgeon, so I look after our home, and throw elaborate dinner parties with champagne cocktails for his best friends Hugh and Anita. He’s my safe place and my chance to have the family I’ve always wanted. I’ve managed to hide the mornings when I wake up and see a face in the shadows. I haven’t told Gabe the truth about the woman who raised me, or told him about the therapy I’ve been getting so my secrets stay hidden in the dark.

Historia
The early Christian movement spread from Jerusalem in every direction, taking on local cultural expression all around the ancient world. So why do so many people see Christianity as a primarily Western, white religion? In A Multitude of All Peoples, Vince Bantu surveys the geographic range of the early church's history, revealing an alternate, more accurate narrative to that of Christianity as a product of the Western world. Focusing on the necessity for contextualization and indigenous leadership, he draws out practical lessons for intercultural communication of the gospel.

While I loved the historical and theological content of this book I didn’t enjoy the narrator. The execution of his delivery was rigid and dry. I would have preferred the author to have been the narrator instead. It would have brought so much more life to this audio reading. Great book though despite the performance.

For Tracy, eating a frog is a metaphor for tackling your most challenging task - but also the one that can have the greatest positive impact on your life. Broken down and stranded 1,000 miles from home with only $7 left in his bank account, Bob Lotich had reached his breaking point. He was stuck in a dead-end job, living paycheck-to-paycheck, and overwhelmed by debt. Bob had been following the world's advice with money and this was the fruit of it. In desperation, he cried out to God for wisdom, for a different way. The answer was a simple four-part formula, one based on timeless biblical principles, and, most important, it worked.

Breath of fresh air!!!
Revisado: 05-09-23
I thoroughly enjoyed this book!! Such a refreshing change of pace as relates to books about money. I was happy to see someone deal with the topic of money/finance from a practical & eternal perspective. Bob and Linda calmly takes the reader on a journey through the ways of how we handle, view and think about money. Their 4 step strategy has a very simple and practical approach to redirecting our money towards a healthier place that ultimately benefits us and the world around us. Great read!!

Historia
In one of his most enlightening works, C. S. Lewis shares his ruminations on both the form and the meaning of selected psalms. In the introduction he explains, "I write for the unlearned about things in which I am unlearned myself." Consequently, he takes on a tone of thoughtful collegiality as he writes on one of the Bible's most elusive books.

Historia
We are surrounded by toxic stories and bad cultural thinking. We’re held back by incomplete theology. But does it have to be like that? Is frustration the end of the story? In the face of confusion and injustice, we can lose sight of our true narrative - the one that started in a garden and wants to make our real lives better today. Activist and recording artist Sho Baraka wrestles deeply and honestly with these questions, gives you permission to do the same, and shows a hard-earned path to creative change. With Sho, you’ll engage with art, justice, and history.

Excellent offering from Sho Baraka
Revisado: 07-19-21
Sho Baraka encourages a more holistic approach to creativity and work as a Christian. Our vocation should be one that serves and honors the world around us and reflect the sacrificial spirit of our savior. I was deeply impressed by the fact that Sho narrated his own book with the help of Tedashii Anderson and Naima. Excellent execution on his first literary expedition.
